RD is gonna disagree [emoji12]
About sobriety, outboards, or the fact that there was no triple axle trailer?
Someday I will have the roadrunner / fox's "challenge.".
Sobriety of course [emoji4] he may still be able to dock better than me w a good buzz but my skills have increased drastically. Sometimes I even impress myself.
I launched my 29 at Katherines all the time by myself. I had that shiznit down to a scienceI launched one time next to three guys launching a jet ski. All three were wet up to their arm pits. I didn't touch water and had it in and the trailer out while they were still fuckin' around. I said to them "Damn, at least two of you should be dry....." They didn't like it too much....haha I always took pride in getting in/out quickly at the launch ramps....

One man show here as well [emoji3] i like it better that way
Wife has been learning backing down. She REALLY wants to learn. And I like that she wants to participate, but I can do it much quicker with me doing it all. As long as she wants to continue to try, I will let her.![]()

I would love wife to learn. Little brother has been trying and doing ok but he's not always with us. Mom and dad are usually w me but dad drinks to much and mom usually helps w the baby or watches he boat for me[emoji4] maybe this season I can get the wife to try
Understand that. Most of the time we have our pups with us, so Robin stays back with them when we are tied up. I back the truck down and they jump out of the boat and into their air conditioned world in the Crew Cab.
Just keep your patience while she trys... no punching or throwing rice bowls if shit goes funky![]()
Lol! [emoji23] nothing but encouragement. I'm afraid if I lose my temper she'll never want to try again.
When I was teaching my ex gf how to back the trailer in I got some little walkie talkies. It helped immensely. That way you aren't yelling up the ramp like a fool.
Lol I can picture that. Great advice [emoji106] we actually have a set at the house in bhc
Long Range boat I fish on, 94', no thrusters. Skippers back it in after spinning it in it's own length never get close to the slip on either side.:thumbsupThat would be awesome!! I honestly love docking boats, it's always a good challenge and it changes with the wind current etc. I think its fun.
This is docking a boat like a boss. Even if he does have thrusters, this is mad skills.

What are thrusters?
Go watch he video again. You will see prop wash on the side of the boat (up by bow and stern). Thrusters allow you to move to the sides without using forward or reverse on the engines.
