There were two owners before us, I assume, because we have seen pics of the boat with two different names on the back. I've always heard it's bad luck to rename so it will stay without while we have it.

I am pretty sure he was having a cat built.

Here is a Tremor I saw at Cobra before we bought ours.

We love our Eliminator but damn, the Shockwave was a nice boat. Our magnatude handled the rough stuff like it was nothing. Really do miss this boat. On a side note does anyone have any info on the one that had a Merc 600 in it?

I must say there are very few used boats that I like well enough(style, size, color combo) to actually buy. This is one of those boats. Love everything about it! I was eying it when GRADS had it up for sale and if I could have insured it without having to pay 3 times what I pay for my currently boat it would be on the East Coast.

This one was real nice too, but I feel like yours looks better [emoji1360]

Thank you. For some reason, ours does not look great in pics. The color really pops in person. I took my wife and kids out to see it, just to give them a feel for it and we left a deposit that day. Big thanks to whoever commissioned it and picked the colors, and to the second owner for the stereo and immaculate upkeep.

I can only come up with one negative on the Tremor, the wind buffeting over the helm. I'm thinking about adding stainless grab handles and Plexi wind screens (I think a company in havasu has them) in between the cup holder for the driver and passenger.

When's the Shockwave regatta?

I've been kicking around doing the little flip up screens too, but just can't pull the trigger. Really like the motorized Dana ones.... But $$

And I've been wondering about the Regatta. It's been long enough [emoji1360]

How well do these wind screens work? I've been thinking about something like that far a while now.

Last I talked to Bob about a regatta, it didn't sound like it would happen anytime soon. We should talk to him about seeing if he would care if we did a notaregatta.

What's the numbers on this?

Beautiful boat. :thumbsup

If I remember right, his buddy has the same 22 Deck with same 556hp LSA & jet combo. He was hitting 70 loaded down and scrubbing 73 in perfect conditions. Dang good numbers for that combination [emoji1360]

I don't know how well they work. I'd like to go for a ride on a boat with them before I go drilling into the deck

Depending on how well the LA show goes for Shockwave, maybe we can talk him into something [emoji1360] If not, a notaregatta would be awesome.

I agree. I would like to be able to test them before dropping the coin and drilling holes. My next boat will definitely be a canopy or windshield boat:thumbsup

Hopefully they sell some boats. I'm curious what their line up is going to be. I asked Jen and never got a response.

Not necessarily. They build custom boats lol. I've seen a few boats of theirs from the past with windshields. And I've talked to Bob about tooling a new boat.

Hey guys...I have these. They are adjustable and work pretty well. I just have to do a little tightening now and then. I actually broke the piece that holds the wind flap to the rail... replaced that ($5) and all is good. They came on my boat, but Finney's supplied them to Advantage.

Tooling a new boat? What are you thinking?

Thanks for posting those up. They look pretty good. Maybe this summer if we see each other I can talk you into taking me for a ride and see how they work.

I would like another cat in the 28-33/35 foot range twin engine. 😬

I have those on my Advantage too. I got rid of the smoked ones and mine are clear. They work very well at 80+, probably wouldn't have a boat without them (or canopies) ever again. Theres a huge difference from sitting in the front seat with the windscreen to sitting in the backseat without, you feel your skin ripple in the backseat lol.

Runs a solid 65 all day loaded up, when you hit the right water i have seen 72/73. My buddy has the same exact boat and he saw 74 going up river to Topock.

They are adjustable and work very well. And when they are in the 'straight up' position, besides keeping the wind out of your face, they (the smoked ones) really help with the glare of the sun off the water.

Absolutely! Always up for a boat ride :)

Even with the bolsters dropped and me standing, the wind goes right up and over me. They are pretty cool.

Yes, exactly what I was thinking. I dont have the hand rail so I was going to use universal stainless grab handles. There is a flat area on the Tremor behind the "windshield" area of the deck and they could flip down when not in use.

Thanks

that is my thoughts, install a handle between and in front of the cup holders.

What numbers does the 21 run with the 496? And is it a Mag or HO?

Nice sled btw [emoji1360]

I bought it from the guy that had Bob build it. He said he wanted a boat that him and four of his buddies could ride at 65. It has a 496 Mag. Bob at Shockwave said it should go 75. It's a great boat.

Awesome! If Bob wasn't already building ours for stock, we were planning to have a Step Skier built with the 8.2HO. Bob was saying it's an easy 75mph boat. [emoji1360]

Yea Scott still same old medical issues. Believe me I love this boat more than anything else I have and it's paid for.... I just can't handle it! My wife does everything these days including driving our mh (35 ft) and she was able to handle most is our previous boats. They were jets but she won't drive a prop. She has seen what a prop is capable of and she's very very concerned. She flat out will admit she's scared of it. I've been threatened to sell for 3 years if I didn't improve and unfortunately it's improved but not enough.😤
This isn't a sale pitch but a fact..... This boat is awsome!

Completely understand. Every bit of improvement is a good thing and great to hear.

If you're ever out camping and see us on the water, there's always room for a few more! [emoji1360]

And good luck with the sell, by the way!

Sbarry, how are you liking the switch from the deep V to the tunnel hull?
