Could explain the 5 police cars just south of my neigborhood this morning. The team was all in black and it said CHP on they're uniforms. The were very heavily armed at a house that usually has a couple of bikes outside.

MONTEBELLO -- Dozens of members of the Mongols motorcycle gang were arrested in a federal raid this morning, authorities said.

ATF agents served search warrants and arrest warrants as part of a three-year, undercover investigation dubbed "Operation Black Rain", according to Montebello Police Chief Daniel Weast.

The multi-agency sweep took place in several states, with much of the action centered in Southern California.

Those arrested are reportedly charged in a federal racketeering indictment.

Chief Weast said under-cover officers infiltrated the biker gang as part of the investigation.

The Mongols Motorcycle Club started in Montebello in the 1970s and has since grown to an estimated 1,000 members.

The group is known to have a long-standing rivalry with the Hell's Angels Motorcycle Club.

A search warrant was also served in Arleta this morning for a person believed to be connected to the biker gang, however, details of that search warrant were not immediately known.

ATF agents along with members of the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, Montebello Police Department and the Las Vegas Metro Police Department were expected to release more information about the raid during a noon press conference.

So I live out here in Camarillo, just South of Ventura. I was on my way to starbucks this morning before work, and I see the big ass sheriff's truck with a bunch of people piled into it. I notice the guy in the passenger seat has full gear on, including the "ninja mask" (blalklava). Coincidence? maybe, im not sure, but it looked like they were on their way to bust someone's ass, and that shit doesn't normally happen in Camarillo.

Hmm...interesting...the note about infaltrating the gang sounds interesting...like someone being undercover for a couple years....not a job I would want...

It always seems like they serve the warrants and bring it to a close cause the insider is starting to melt down or things are going sideways...seems like they get their evidence but instead of closing it down they get greedy and want more evidence...

As soon as the incident went down in Laughlin with the Hells Angels, the Mongols started recruiting members to strengthen their numbers.

Not that hard to join the Mongols so they got lots of low lifes joining their ranks.
The Mongol's needed large numbers in the rank and file.

The Hells Angels are still a fairly difficult group to join.
Perhaps smaller, but far, far smarter, and no question way more deadly than the Mongols.

Bottom line, they're mostly all criminals.

When a Mongol gets murdered, and their has been a lot of them going down since Laughlin, Sturgis and Aspen, notice you read the Mongols GF/wife gets wacked too.

A "wrench" in the HA's repairs Motorcycles.
A Mechanic in the HA's wacks enemies.

Lot's of mechanics in the HA's.

Luckily we don't have much of that out this way... just a bunch of wannabe bad asses... When i was bouncing, I'd have to deal with these punks from time to time... now you bring in a group of Mongols or Hells Angels, I'd quickly exit the room.;)

I'll say one good thing about the Hells angels... I have a relative that was raped by a group of black men in AR... 2 of them men were seen being draged down the street by a group of hells angles. They were later found dead.

You are mistaken if you think it's easy to join the Mongols. Both clubs (HA & Mongols) have their "time in service" and "dues".

The Mongols starting recruiting gang bangers to fill the ranks. Many don't even own bikes.

But they are given a frame and motor and expected to have the bike put together in a certain time frame.

It takes over their lives completely. Plus it's not something you can just walk away from when you can handle it anymore.

Piper is right. Most hang arounds and prospects shake lose pretty quick because they have to go through so much shit. You have to have a pretty unique talent to get approved in a quick manner. 2-3 years...

These clubs don't just hand out colors either. Every member has them permanently tattoed! HA on the chest and Mongols on the back.

There are a lot of wanna be biker gang guys in my area.

I had a run in at "Sportys" The Sportsman in Riverside. One guy almost knocked me over while walking by and hit me up. I didn't even look at him and said "sorry bro". He kept on and I just looked at the ground and said "man....once again, I'm sorry, it won't happen again" He walked away just staring at me.

Later on that night, I watched him and his buddies pick fight after fight while the owner/manager kicked out the poor bastards that these guys went after.

One of the security guards made a comment that is sad but true. He stated that if he turns away the guys from the gang, they will probably burn down the bar or worse.

I think I made the right decision by pussing out under the circumstances.

Bullshit clubs are in bars messing with people.
Big clubs don't need the heat.
a)Hangaround - for an unspecified amount of time
b)prospect - couple months to a year, depends on the club, chapter, the person. Hard work, round the clock ,on call 24/7 especially at National runs of which you might work two or three
c)probate - some clubs don't use this, others send probates out to all the other chapters to get their card signed
d)patch holder

The Book "Under & Alone" by Billy Queen is a great Read. It's about him infiltrating the Mongols. I'm not a Big Reader, but I couldn't put the Book down. I was also interested to read it because a friend of mine who is an X-Mongol was written about in the Book..

Mongols made all four UC's take polygraphs, all four UC's passed. Polygraphs were administered by Private Eye's . I hope they post the Investigative agencies that did the backgrounds on the UC's. Obviously they are'nt worth paying to do backgrounds/lol.

Nice display of bikes outside Parker Center today. The murder of the Mongol last week on the 210 and recent incidents probabably sped up the take down. Not the best thing to have UC's in the middle of a fire fight with warring tribes.

Iron Pigs Ratso, sounds like the same group the Seattle Detective belonged to that shot the HA at Sturgis.

Drug dealing, sales of machine guns/ hand grenades keeps these guys on the radar of the feds. Anyone trying to hang around that goes through the ringer too. Membership has it's downs, as well as it's "perks"

Nice Oil dipstick dagger on one of the confiscated bikes, had'nt seen that in awhile. Those are hard to find and fetch a pretty penny these days.

The Mongols "officers" involved in the Laughlin incident either quit or were murdered.

The Mongols that ended up in the hospital got lots of Red and White flowers delivered to their hospital rooms.
Those flowers were from the Hells Angels, the HA's club colors, reminding that the HA's are thinking of them.

According to a conversation my wife and I had with Bobbo, past president of the SFV chapter of the HA's, at a HA's/ELKS charity swap meet sometime back;

"They" (Mongols, Hells Angels won't speak their name), "then went on a massive recruiting drive inhaling drug dealers, street punks, thugs, ex cons & gangos and criminals from all corners of the US."

"They needed to swell their membership to deal with us (the HA's) was their philosopy."

The HA's canciled a few future charity swap meets at the Elks facilities because of on going friction with the Mongols.
We will hear of another big blowout between the two clubs in the future.

If I was to bet on any final outcome between the two, my wager is on the HA's coming out on top.
HA's are the smarter thinkers.

Simi PD has been harassing him.
They write tickets, infractions for anything they can.

Last I saw Tiny his Pit Bull bit his big toe off.
He sat next to my wife and I at Chuys & talked to us and had a beer on his way home from the Hospital.
Loosing his toe was no BFD to him.

Quite a book could be written about Tiny alone.
I think also a founding member of Satans Slaves. I think.
