One of my favorite events in Idaho is the Cardboard Boat Regatta on Spirit Lake. Pretty simple rules: you can only use Flex seal, Cardboard, duct tape, pool noodles, and foam fill. Race out past a giant rubber duck and back. It is so fun to watch. Most sink. Always thought it would be fun to do that here in Havasu at Rotary Park.

This was pretty much my physics final in HS. we couldn't use anything except for a single 1x1, wood glue, 2 yards of construction paper and a water barrier style paint. My partner and I pretty much built a hollow surf board. It made it about halfway across the pool before it sank. I still blame it on my lab partner putting his elbow through the top while staging 😅

Like it. Basically a Cat hull with a couple of Arneson surface drives. The guy definitely knew what he was doing.

That sounds like a good time actually.. what do they use for power?
