I dunno what I did to these guys.
I live out in the sticks, on a dead end county road 2.5 miles from the nearest stop sign.
Driveway is clearly marked. Gate is open.
A couple of years ago I ordered some tools via Amazon. Shipped by ONTRAC. I'd never heard of them til then but ok fine, get me my stuff. A week later it showed delivered. Nope. Not here. Checked all around the house, nope not here. A storm comes in and after it I go down to the gate and clear some debris from the ditch and culvert under the drive and shazam, there is my package.
Amazon had all ready shipped a replacement, got here fine. (UPS)
Two weeks ago I ordered a HDMI splitter. Again, ONTRAC.
First I get a will be late email from Amazon, then shazam it was listed as delivered. Went outside, looked around, nope, ain't here. Again, it has been raining. Cindy is leaving for work a couple of days later and spies a box under a tree near the address marker.
Yup. ONTRAC strikes again.
Soaking wet all the way through.
Called the seller and he shipped me a new one for free, good guy...who also hates ONTRAC.
I email Amazon and let them have it, and tell them my disgust with ONTRAC.
The reply I get is mostly boiler plate, but one line strikes me..
"We are proud of our shipping partners, but, unfortunately, the one you got wasn't one o our best"?
Really?
Why are you using them if that is the case.
No response.
Today.
Ordered some oil from Rocky Mountain ATV. Spent a fortune with them over the years for stuff for quads for the boys and will be buying some tires from them soon.
I was working outside and saw a newer slate gray F150 pull into the drive and stop.
Guy jumps out and drops a box under the address marker.
I yell for him to stop. He will claim he couldn't hear me but that is BS.
I walk down the hill.
Yup. ONTRAC strikes again.
I called ONTRAC corporate in Dallas and very calmly laid it out; told him I thought his company was either incompetent or hired incompetent drivers and that if it was in my power to never be strapped with using their services I would make that happen. The guy was actually responsive and asked for a phone number for a "manager" to contact me.
Called Rocky Mt. to let them know.
Guy was cool, just wanted them to know ONTRAC was not good, he told me, yours isn't the only complaint about those guys"
Then the kicker, just gotta laugh.
I get an email from Amazon Prime that my replacement TV remote (see other thread) may be late
per a message they have received from...ONTRAC.

I just blasted Amazon Customer service again via email.
Prime is worthless to me if they cannot fulfill the order as stated, why should I pay for it.
No repsonse yet.
Just send me my stuff via UPS. Even FedEx would be better.
They must be so cheap the online retailers would rather deal with the complaints than dump them.
