As stated I need a locksmith to open a safe that we have lost the combination and key for. Are there any recommendations for the SoCal area

Call them, there may be a number on the safe that will allow them to look up the combo, it might only work of you registered the safe with them

If you bought it new and never changed the combo you can call the Mfg with the serial number and proof of purchase.
They will have the combo and a dial key.

Felix at Safecracker Inc. 619-794-8355.

Guy is legit. When I was calling around to locksmiths everyone recommended him. I have a commercial UL rated safe and he was able to get in and change the combo for me in about 15 minutes.

I'm a bit worried so many of you know guys that can open safes...and here I'm thinking to myself "Well first you have to pull the anchors from the concrete, then peel the bottom layer with a cutoff wheel..."
🤣
I was thinking wheel of death too... my safe is a bear to open and I have the combo, usually takes 3 tries.

I want the hidden camera video of the "cracker" doing the job!

That's what I tried to do with the above safe I mentioned. It turns out it was a safe inside of a safe. The outer safe was the fire rated portion and the inner safe is 2" of steel. Never seen another safe like it.

I believe it's still doable, but messy and time consuming. Mag base drill and coring saws. Much easier to have a pro come out.

Get a more exact location.. there’s safe crackers everywhere..

It isn’t as hard as you’d think.

On youtube they will show you how to open some of these safes with a magnet and a paperclip LOL

Search around yours might be there.

The guy that opened my safe drilled a tiny hole and then inserted a tiny camera that he was able to control where it was pointing. He was able to watch the back of the lock while he manipulated the combo, and he could tell what the previous combo was by doing this. Very interesting to watch. Guy made $300.00 in 15 minutes.

Hopefully I do not need to damage the actual safe to accomplish what I'm looking for. It's only a $650 safe so don't want to spend much more than that to get it open.

Yours might be easier to get into than mine. I am going to use my mig to fill in the hole in mine and just grind it down and repaint the entire safe.

You might try this guy, They do commercial removals and setups. I had them deliver a 5K Lb safe and set it up at the house.

I have no connection other than a purchase but He was a solid guy, It would be worth a call. And he's in the IE

EDIT**
hell with the make and model he might be able to give you an estimate over the phone.
