I got this 94 240sx conv. ...I traded some old junk for it ....It is one of only 266 made in 94 in red pearl...Needs some paint and body work....but runs like new....There is a following for this car...for some reason....I will update as work progresses...

Well, this being a kinda side project...Im not really in a hurry with it...but I found an entire front end, locally, in very good condition, except its grey....and it needs to be red....I jammed the parts pearl red today...

Inner apron and engine rail was bent..(much to my surprise for such a light hit)...and I brought it to my friends frame shop to get it pulled....He has been slammed with work, and has been unable to get to it yet....

Finally ....got it on the frame rack...apron was 1 1/2" out of square...all repaired and parts going on....I will have it back here for final body work and paint prep next week...

How much trim do you remove around the top when you paint a convertible? As I recall from restoring a convertible, some of that trim was glued on and difficult to remove. My car was a Midget so the brits probably build them differently than we do.

On this car that black trim stays on and gets masked off....There were very few of these built, and trim parts, when you can find them....are expensive
