I realize its close but u should really go to smellsomemore or perris. Puddingstone sucks. I tested a boat with a friend and the ranger was watchin the whole time. The speed limit is enforced there heavily. Ill drive the extra bit to not get fucked with. Good luck!

thanks for the info.

It's the even numbered days for boats. Technically you are supposed to have mufflers and water through the exhaust, but you may do ok if you are not crazy loud,, and doing stupid things on top of that.

Do make sure you have current stickers, registration, fire extinguisher showing good charge,, one throwable cushion,, and a life jacket for each person in your group, those are what they check.

My pops took a flatty out there 2 weeks ago to test it out. they were kicked off the lake 100 feet from the no wake zone. Elsinore, Perris, Silverwood, or even pyramid are a better way to go

My buddies and I go 2-3 times a month on weekday afternoons to ski. Water is relatively clean, ramps are fine. We ski all day and drink all the beer we want, never been hassled. I am sure the lifeguards are much more strict during the weekend.

But please keep spreading the hate! Keep more people off the lake.

When my FIL and my MIL first started dating he took us to the puddle to go skiing. He has a daycruiser with a healthy blower. We got there at 9:55, started the boat on the ramp and the Popo were there in 15 seconds. After the safety check and reiterating the 35MPH about 5 times, they let us launch. We were the only boat on the water for 20 minutes, but we had a escort almost the whole time.

I think it's like AR-15s vs Mini-14s...35 MPH, but the blower is scawy, so they freak out.
