Timing is everything I guess. Yesterday would've been Pops' 75th. Can't believe he's been gone 12 years. Last night was thinking of "stuff", like what he taught me. Not only in a "how to" kind of way, but the "how to be" kind of way. I did the eulogy at his service...one of, if not the, hardest thing I've done...and ended it by saying I hope to be as good a father as he was.

Miss you Pops, I hope the fishing's good.

Hopefully I'm doing good with my own kids. Only time will tell.
