So back on President’s day I broke my back in an off-road accident. I was supposed to build a new sand rail this summer. I was going to build a new Tatum 2 seater. The wife put the nix on that one, so did I kind of, really didn’t know how I was going to heal. So fast forward to May, we always take a trip down to Rocky Point. I really didn’t want to take my used up Rhino to ride around on. So I started looking around for a used RZR. For anything good it was close to the price of a new one, so I started looking at new. I was looking for just a n/a one, found a pretty good deal on one at Ridenow. When I went to go buy it, it turns out I know the kid’s parents that works in the sales department. He asked what I was there for and I told him. He then ask if I would be interested in a Turbo model for the same price or even a little better. I was all in. I got a XP Turbo out the door for $16,000 with warranty.

You can’t leave these things stock, or at least I can’t. So I ordered a cage, front bumper and spare tire carrier from Cage Worx. I picked up some doors and door bags from TMW. At the SSSS I talked to my buddies at PCI Race Radios and picked up a radio, intercom, race air and a couple of wired helmets. I had the cage, bumper and doors powder coated to match the charcoal gray plastics.
I spent a couple days putting everything together. I am just missing my whip mounts and dome lights. I haven’t decided on wheels and tires yet either. I think it’s looking pretty good so far.

Finally picked my wheels and tires. Went with Raceline wheels and got a almost brand new set of take off 32” Coyotes. Just need to find one more for my spare. Think I’m pretty much done besides seats. Really want to keep it as simple as I can.

Really nice looking piece. Any plans to tune up the shocks and springs?

Yes, have a local guy here that is going to valve the shocks after I put the stage II Eibach spring kit on. I wasn’t going to do anything but just drove a buddies car that did this same thing and made a bigger difference than I thought it would.

Yea the difference is quite dramatic. If you drive it hard, look at the 2.5” Walker front shocks. You can get them with or without the Eibach springs. The stock front shocks fade fast after a few miles of chatter bumps at speed.

Car should have come with them from the factory.

Added a couple more gadgets, a Lowrance GPS. Than added an infrared belt sensor.

Wallnutz go look at thread I did on my XP1k on the suspension. It had the Walkers.
Before you spend any money on the fronts replacing the springs think about how long you plan on keeping this machine and if it is going to get used I would talk to your shock guy about replacing the front 2.0's with the 2.5s.
That is the way I went and the cost to upgrade was worth it. The 2.0's are just too dang small for these things, and the oil heats up and they go south quickly.
I would do the Eibach true dual rate kit for sure (see my thread in the other tech section) but I'd get the 2.5's for the front and put the Eibach springs on those. Your rears will be fine with the spring kit. Just hate to see you spend any $ on the 2,0's.
I sold my 2,0s and recouped a couple hundred bucks. I think once you start talking to your shock guy he will tell you the same thing. I don't think you will regret it at all. With a screwed up back (I share that issue as well) it will be money well spent.
