I need suggestions on what brand you guys recommend for a shore stake. I would prefer the kind that has the slide to knock itself into the sand.... Any help is appreciated.
I will be using it for a 24' Centurion Enzo

As many have said, Sand Spike by Slide Anchor. Great products and even better people behind the company. Just a head's up, the newer sand spikes have graphics on the rubber handle. When brand new in hot weather the ink may come off on your hand. I had red palms at Desert Storm last year for 2 days lol <insert joke here:D >

I have never really understood the point of them?

Run the line through it and tie a light knot. The serrations and geometry hold the line tight. Don't have to mess with tight knots.

Takes the place of a knot and easy to adjust your line when needed. Sure you can untie and re-tie... :)

I never really tie up to beaches overnight or anything like that. I just use the slide anchor at the sandbar for the day.. Pull the rope through the loop deal, and tie a basic knot and I'm done.

I have 2 Danik Hooks, one is polished and brand new in the packaging. I used the first one a couple times, and figured it was more of a pain in the ass then just tying the knot. The second one I figured I'd give away on here, but kind of forgot about it until this thread.

Are those spike stainless, or are they just plated?
