A couple of pics of last night at sun down. It is about 22 miles back to the launch on this shallow water river. Needless to say some of us were doing it by brail.
This what happens when you read the river by brail. LOL. Actually the guy hit a stump under the water at 75 mph and it shot him up the gravel bar that way. He travelled about 100 yds on the gravel before he stopped. Pretty funny to watch. I take a few more this weekend.
Its funny, the boat with the wings on it is mine and it spent most of it's life in Lake Havasu with a blown 540 in it. Now it has a stroked LS3 and goes about 5 mph slower 100 mph.
About two miles before that picture I drove over a 3 ft rock sticking out of the water about a foot. Couldn't see it because the quad was in the way. Scared the crap out of me but nothing happened. The yellow boat does approx 110 mph. Haven't hit any rocks with it just one grvel bar at 100 mph and the river bank at 60 in a tight turn. Whoops!
