It might just be me, but it sure seems like the Internet has made kids stupid, not smarter.
The entire knowledge of man, and beyond, (basically the Akashic Record) at their fingertips and what do they do?
Play angry birds and watch cat videos.

Here is my take. The internet Isn’t going to make most people smarter. The internet is kind of like a huge library except all of the books are just strewn about on the ground in no meaningful way. The successful users are the ones that know how to search for what they need and when they need it. It also serves as a way for me to offload info that I don’t need. Grandmas phone number? It is in the cloud. I don’t need to know the number, all I need to know is how to find it. For me the internet has taught me how to focus on what I need, and it has given me more time to look up things that I didn’t know. We need to teach people how to explore more.
