Been thinking of changing from Verizon to sprint, cheaper cost with more benefits, but how is the service at the lake and river? Anyone make this switch?

My parents and I have had sprint for years. They live in havi and I'm in so cal. Service works perfect in havi. We haven't had any issues. The monthly plan is cheaper, I pay $67/month for my iPhone.:)... The rate is a little low, I get a small discount through my employer.

when i was with verizon, my signal was spotty in havasu and pretty much non-existent in parker.

i made the switch to sprint about a year ago or so. so far i am pretty content with the signal i get in havasu.

although, to be honest, when i am at the river, (or anywhere for that matter) i try and be on my phone/internet as little as possible. i am on a little vacation for goodness sake and the last thing i want to deal with is my phone or internet.

i keep my phone on in case of an emergency.

Great, they are 4G too. Works about everywhere in town, on sandbar, but poor in Copper. Spotty south of city limits.

Check the 4G speed using speedtest.net - might not be as fast as you think ;)

I have AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. Sprint's 4G is always the slowest. AT&T pseudo 4G is usually faster than Sprint and more readily available.

I have had sprint for several years. It seems to be fine when I am in Havasu.

I have Sprint, Verizon, and ATT. On the Strip Verizon works way better then Sprint. Up until a year ago my Sprint use to work pretty well. Then they must have lost some roaming privileges because unless I am in the City of Parker my Sprint phone is a brick... My buddy lives in Havasu and loves his Sprint service.

Keep in mind there is NO 4G on any service in Havasu.
