The last couple trips out to Bullhead the internet connection has been slow. So today I ran a test and shit it's like I am back in the 90's on dial up. The first test it was a 1/4 of a Mega Bite then it went up to 3/4 of a Mega Bite on the forth test. So I called Suddenlink and they were only testing it between 3/4 to 3 Mega Bites. The highest I got it to test was 9 Mega Bites but then the next test it was right back to 3 Mega Bites. I am paying for 50 Mega Bites. They said they couldn't get anyone out here to look at it until Friday.

Anyone else having problems with the Suddenlink Internet Connection?

Dumb question but I'll ask it anyway... Have you reset your modem/router by unplugging it and waiting like 30 seconds then try a speed test again?

This weekend is a test for us. If my wife's Verizon card works for her webcast, Suddenlink is getting the boot. $112 a month for cable never works and slow internet that always drops off.

Yep, tried it several time and Suddenlink tried on their side as well.

I even ran it straight from the modem to my computer to see if it was the router. It was still slow as dial up.

This isn't what I wanted to read. I'm headed to bhc tomorrow and my plan was to call sudden link. 35 bucks a month for 50mbps. That's plenty to run he box so I figured that would b perfect. Keep this thread updated please [emoji4]

50 Mega Bytes or mega bits?

Don't be shocked when the service is slow or not working at all. I just checked mine and it's 1.3 down.

Find out if they are selling you the service by the bit or the Byte.

I have Suddenlink in BHC. Works great. Took them a few trips to dial it in. We normally run 7-10 devices on Wi-fi and have no problem.

My brother was in Havasu this weekend and our internet went out. It's been fine since I had it installed last year. In fact it was faster than my internet here at home. Guess they're having issues. Wasn't there some storms recently? Might be the cause.

Lol. Welcome to my world.

ATT finally got most of their optic installed on our road.

Went from 1.5 to 3.5.

To us it seems like lightning after 10 years of 1.5!!

I wonder how often it's down while you're not there. :hmm

Suddenlink 6.0, it's the Ford of the ISP world. :D

F* me that's a fast upload, geesh. Would kill to have that, would making backup to the cloud a lot easier than my whopping 5mb. Charter business is 60 down and 5 up, $65...so can't complain.

Congrats, bastard :p

Sudden link is the absolute worst internet provider I've ever dealt with. It's slow. Has to be reset 20 times a day. And I've had a technician out several times and it's no better.

Interesting,, I heard bad things about Suddenlink, but the people I bought my house from said it worked fine for them. I have been here in Parker 3 months, and have had only one outage for a short time, and then one time when it was way slow. Normally I stream through the Blu Ray to TV and use computer both at the same time with no buffering. I pay $35 for 15mbs service, but it normally tests faster than 15,, was over 18 a minute ago when I just checked.

Sweet I should be heading out there next week I'll pm u later [emoji2]

Sounds good. The tech came to the condo today and tested the system. He said there maybe some local issues and would get back to me today and let me know if their working on the main system down by Safeway. Otherwise, I think I am just screwed. But it's Bullhead some I use to it.

You may not have the same problems I am having.

All 15mbs service is supposed to be 50mbs now.

Whatever happened to your service. We are paying for 75 and download speeds are 13. They want to send a tech out.

The tech was nice but it really seemed like Suddenlink has given them a line to tell the customer. When the tech came he tested the system and told me that his diagnostic tool would only read up to 25 Mbps and that it was reading 25 Mbps. So I told him lets see what it reads on my computer via www.speedtest.net and it was reading between 12 Mbps to 13 Mbps. He then said that it was probably the wireless router so I ran it directly to the cable modem and it tested the same. The tech then said that the cable line that was hooked to the cable modem wasn't the main line so he found the mainline and ran it directly to the cable modem when then tested it again and it ran similar numbers. He then blamed the slow speed on my cable wiring. So I told him if that was true then it would be consistently be running those numbers and it hasn't been consistent. At the beginning of the week it was running .25 Mbps to 3 Mbps. He then said that maybe they were working on the mainline down by Safeway and he was going to call me and let me know. So he called me back and he said that locally they didn't know of any problems but he was going to get with the main office and see if anything was going on. He still hasn't gotten back to me. I just think the strategy is to give you the run around until you give up.

I am going to do some research and try to find out the capacity of my cable line and go from there.

Had to place 3 calls last night, all said I needed to wait 20 min before running another test.
Called twice this morning and got the same response that they needed to reboot the router

I've been dealing with poor service form suddenlink in Havasu for the last three year's. It seem's to me when the temp's go up my service goes down. Everytime I'm told the same thing "must be the main line in the house."

Had a service tech out yesterday for the fourth time this month. I finally made it a whole night without resetting the router every half an hour. He installed an amplifier. Funny that the past three techs said my signal and wiring were fine. That it was out side at their box that was the problem. I'll see if it makes it 24 hours. What a treat. [emoji106]🏿

Yeah, I went through that the first day i called before the tech came out. They were showing 3 Mbps on their end when she tested the system remotely.

I am back home now. We are going back up on the 3rd so I will test again. Let me know how your speed tests. Also, did you ever get the e-mail from Suddenlink?
