Right on, she is outstanding, have fun 👍

Are you gonna fly your Lear jet to Cali and join us for Cruel World in May?

From the Dallas show Thurs night:

I was a little nervous beforehand, fearing she'd be diminished (70 and still recovering from a stroke), but she sounded great.

Imagine seeing her perform this ten years earlier:

Cruel World has a great line-up and would be fun, but I'll be recovering from a golf trip the week before.

Look forward to your review!

… And the award goes to Arthur Lee… I have no idea the amount of times I saw Love at their inception…play that song live… I can’t remember whether Arthur Lee wrote that or Brian McLean or perhaps both of them???… maybe I should Google it… it looks like Brian McLean wrote it… What a masterpiece…

… Calexico for number two👍

One of Aaron's new ones...its fire...

When I lived in New Braunfels, Creed lived about a mile down the road. Was able to have beers with him several times over at billy's which was by our houses. Guy is very talented..

A truly great song.

Given their punk/goth nature, it was odd to see the Damned walk away with such a big hit in the 80's.

I need to get that Love vinyl...

I agree, Arthur Lee for the win. But I enjoy the other versions too...I bet Roseann could sing it and it would still be enjoyable lol

… Maybe not on the Roseanne singing it… She and Tom Arnold lived in the apartment next-door to me in the late 80s… fortunately she never sang to me😳

Ian Drury and the Blockheads.

A trippy record, it's the thinnest piece of vinyl I've ever handled. Excellent production, it was mixed by Paul Hardcastle, this piece is a gem for sure.

Hit Me with your Rhythm Stick, and on the same side, Sex & Drugs n Rock' n Roll

Speaking of Paul Hardcastle....19! promo only

I never cared for this 12" back in my DJ days, but I dig it now. Way cool, it has the extended mix, and the destruction mix on the B side. And the vinyl itself looks like it's never been played.

Bronski Beat and Marc Almond...I Feel Love/Johnnie Remember me/Love to Love You. I almost didn't buy this one, but I'm glad I did, it's a great 12"...all 9 1/2 minutes of it.

Looking forward to seeing Marc Almond at Cruel World

ABC Look of Love....US Dub mix and Look of Love Part 3.....this one shows its age and wear.

Sounds like somebody played it... A LOT. To be expected, oh well.

The search continues, I wanted Tower of London, anyways.

Also picked up a really cool DJ promo 12", it has Barbie & The Kens - Just a Gigolo on Side A, with The Flirts - Don't Put Another Dime in the Juke Box on Side B.

I found this the other night...Freddie Snakeskin! That dick Jed the Fish, Poorman, and Dusty Street are also on there.

Freddie was the best, wasn't he married to Buffy Helmet the traffic chick?
