They just need a lot of hot air, so yours should work well. :D

The previous owner had one on my Dodge but I took it off because I never used it. There were only a few wires going to it which I just cut, then threw the thing in the trash. That's all I've got my friend. ;)

I had a real train horn off of a diesel locomotive. Gave it to a friend who had a WWII 72' mine sweeper converted to pleasure cruiser. You'd need a compressor capable of continuous 120 PSI. Horn from a decommissioned ferry would be the real cat's meow though:D

You’ll never get a true train horn sound.... 1.25” id air lines, at a constant 120psi with volume that will never end.

At least a 3 gallon tank
Horn
Switch
Relay
Compressor
Three colors of wires
Fuse block.

I can make you a parts list if you like. You can buy a lot on hornblowers.com too.

i want one of these so bad ... I’d mount it right rear underneath ... so when I’m following someone weaving and going 3mph cuz and basically holding everyone up cuz they’re texting I could blast ‘em when I drove around them ! Scare the crap outta them . Haha .

Is this some new technique the gay guys are using to attract dudes while cruising? Figured you'd pull plenty of pole as is simply driving that thing around.

Just park that baby at a railroad crossing and wait for a freight train to come by. The freight train will actually drive through the smart car without hitting it because its afraid of its smartness. When it's done passing, the horn will be installed and ready to go.

Ive installed a couple...

On a full size truck, you have to relocate the spare tire...

You're better off buying one of those hand held air horns for That car! :D
Not always. If you break up the set-up you can mount almost all the components on the outside of the frame rails and such. I've helped a few buddies do theirs like that

Train horn installation is orders of magnitude more involved than installing a front license plate on a benz...you'll definitely need to see your mechanic for this one.

Just get your purse out and pay someone to do it, like you did with your front license plate holder.

3 components to auto train horn performance.
It's pretty much a more is better type of deal.

air compressor CFM - the more the better
Air storage in terms of how long can you deliver X CFM - the more the better
trumpet count and tone - the more the better.
