What's the name of that hole in the wall Mexican joint on the northwest side of the drag racing track?

What do you feel like? Warehouse Pizza is excellent,,, La Paloma Mexican up on Foothill as well,, El Rey on Bonita I believe in San Dimas. Number of Restaurants along the 10 Freeway west of the 57 are pretty close, or going east over to Montclair Plaza.

2nd for Pomona Valley Mining Company or if you want fast, cheap, good Mexican food go with El Meredero.

Sadly, Joey's has steadily declined in quality. Salads are still great but it's no longer worth the wait. This is not a bash, just the truth. And I have been going to Joey's for over 20 years.

We drove by Joey's in Chino last Monday at around 1 p.m. and I remember wondering if they had gone out of biz. There wasn't a single car in the parking lot and no other obvious signs that they were open for customers.

Last week Pomona Valley Mining had a special, lobster and crab legs for two for $45. If you want a good cheap steak Pinnacle Peak in San Dimas is the place to go.

Swing a bit East to Claremont...

Plenty of good places over there.

You could always swing over to Nick Barron's place, Clubhouse 66 at 1200 E. Route 66 in Glendora -- always tasty -- big menu and excellent bar -- moderately priced.

Pinnacle Peak was a disappointment to me the last few times I went there, not much more than a mile from my house

Los Jarritos on Gary just south of Foothill or cruise over to Joey's BBQ in chino.

JOEY'S SUX, the owner offered me free dinner when they re-did the one across the street from my shop since we gave him the hubcaps for the bar restoration, I respectfully declined. The hub cap idea was lame too but that's just how they think.
