I screwed up a buddys fender this weekend and need to find one. Called Magic but the place that used to make em went under (NAS). I was hoping that I could just call em and they would know all the specifics but had to call Extreme trailers that is doing them now. They need the length, width and height. The boat is kept in Parker so I was hoping someone with the same boat could measure their fender for me since we are not there.

Thanks

Oh yeah, Its a 28' deck boat, triple axle

Painted white

By the time you end up buying the fender, having it paint matched, etc.. etc.. and paying someone to install, you might be better off just buying a set of stainless fenders for it and calling it a day. (Finding someone to paint match in havi etc.. might prove to be a nightmare)

Something to consider.. If you want a set of stainless Call Trevor 714-329-3276.. He might know what size fenders you need already. If not he can get ahold of Long Beach Yacht sales, and GGChris can measure one for you, and he can order.

He can also get the non painted steel fender, but it's going to be impossible to match the color (I would think) without the trailer here.

I was hoping to call the place that made the trailer, order a white fender, have it shipped to him and we could install it while at the river. I should have known it wouldnt be that easy.

Well the bitch of it is, Magic built their own trailers in house for quite awhile, and the quality was "questionable" according to their own employees at the time.

Magic went under and was bought by Cougar, and it's now Cougar / magic / sleek in Havasu. I'm not sure they would have the part your looking for though..

You're going to have to actually measure it up, and get it from a fender mfg etc..

You can call CMS though and see if they can help? They have a banner in rotation at the top, here is their #.

I could if I were in Havasu. PM OutCole'd, it's his boat and trailer. He's out there all the time and might be able to help.

Good luck.

If you live in So Cal, take a drive to the nearest Long Beach Yacht Sales in either Stanton or Long Beach (LBYS.com) they have some left over 28's and might even have some spare parts, worth a try.

Zairman, the trailer is as important as the boat, which is as important as the truck.

Well shit... I'd hate to see what you'd have to say about the time I bent my trailer... LOL

You see now where as you probably straightened that with a sledge hammer. I'd have a new trailer built, slammed and at a minimum tandom.. :D

Actually.... Talked to a guy named George today at LBYS that said he would measure one up if I needed it, no problem! Said he works with Chris.

Sledge hammer wouldn't have touched that... I chained it up to another truck to TRY and straighten it out for the drive home (300 miles), no dice. Ended up fixing it by cutting the trailer in half where it was bent and replacing the steel.

He just got back from Desert Storm N2. We dont have any spare fenders here or I would hook you up. But if you havent gotten the measurement yet let me know and I will shoot it your way!

n2wtr can probably straighten that for you with his pickup truck and some reverse gear.

Nothing yet. Asked Chris if he would measure up a fender when he had the time. When I get the numbers I'll order one. :thumbsup

So you're not the one that called Trevor? If you haven't called him yet, give him a call 714-329-3276. He has access to a bunch of stainless triple axle fenders and can hook you up with a ridiculously good price.

Your buddy will get stainless so he won't be complaining, and you won't be out huge $$$, nor will you have to deal with the PITA of painting and diamond plate top etc..
