It’s That Time Of Year Again

Night one for the summer. We’re super blessed to be just 4mins from the boat ramp on our little lake. Took the girls surfing for the first time this evening. Water is still a bit cold so I kept my fat in the boat. We put on 140hrs last summer. We’ll be a bit short of that I think this year, as we’re a bit busier with work, but we’ll still get plenty of hours on!

The libtards are VERY much trying to screw it up. They shut down 25 miles of river to all towable water sports this year. It’s fkn stupid!

Ribs aren’t great. Probably a few weeks from riding the chair. Im sure I could surf, but it’s too fkn cold still for me.

You really need to make the trip up to the Wenatchee area. We have camping and a launch . Bring jwr as well.

Today was a double up. Columbia River session then sand bar in the AM, off river about 4, then dinner, then back to our home waters for an evening session. We were 150 miles from home on another body of water yesterday.

There’s a reason I don’t keep them long, we POUR the hours on our boats. 3 different waterways in 3 days, a few hundred miles traveled to get to them, who knows how many hours on the boat. Great times!

I’m fkn tired! I have surfed, slalomed, and Ski Ski’d almost every day for the last 6 days. Nap time tonight, new adventures next week, then back on the boating program for the remainder of summer here.

Been making memories pretty well daily. Had the new junk show a month, and

we’re north of 50 hours on the clock.

Tonight was amazing. 85 air, 80 water, started with 3 other boats on the lake, they quickly left, and we stayed until dark.

Another great night. Normally these nights are about the kids. Tonight however was about me. They surfed, then I got my time. Haven’t flown the chair nearly as much as usual this year, felt great to get on the end of the long rope.

Haven’t been keeping this too updated, but we’ve slowed a bit with school starting, but still putting hours on when we can. As usual, our local little lake is drained after Labor Day, so we are now in the Columbia River mostly (we did ride Lake Mayfield last weekend). We have a little spot off channel that we ride.

Here we go again.

I looked at my original post from last year and predicted that we’d be sub 140hrs….. Lord, we cranked out 240! A single jet ski and a couple paddle boarders was the only traffic tonight. Had the 6 girls, a buddy and the dog. Water is still colder than I’m willing to get in. They all got in without wetsuits.

School is out, and we had great weather today. Got on the lake about 7 and put a few hours on. Weather sucks for the next 10 days or so, but I know we’re close to being an every night program. The girls had fun, and the dog doesn’t seem to mind it either. .

G25 and we LOVE it! I was going to sell and upgrade to a Paragon, but after some time in one, I cannot justify the added $200K! They are nice, don't get me wrong, but the G series does EVERYTHING 99.9% of the riders we'll ever encounter need.

After a failed attempt because the boat wasn’t ready a few weeks ago (my fault) and a failed attempt because the lake was too low (fkn Democrats) and WEEKS of waiting because the weather has been atrocious, the girls and I finally got out tonight to kick the season off. Us and one boat for 4 hours. I’m losing their attention to friends, boys and other interests but I’m staring at another 100+ hour season on the lake with the wake boat. Smash lord knows how many hours on the Yott and some time on the river missile and it’s got the making for a great summer! Cheers y’all!
