Finally broke down and picked up a set of cheaters the other day. I’ve been noticing little things here and there, moving things a little further away to see clearly. I had a splinter on my finger and it was so small I couldn’t see if from far away and it was blurry super up close

It took me two weeks to get that fucking splinter out. these are the lowest number cheaters they had, next thing you know I’ll be using my phone to light up menus when we go out to eat.

Ended up getting a eye test and an actual real pair of glasses. My eyes were not bad, but just bad enough to annoy me. I still hate working on shit in the dark though...

As of last December and the acquisition of my "Real ID" I failed the DMV eye test with my right eye. So now my DL says corrective lenses required.
So I now have a pair of prescription Oakley's Sun Glasses to drive with. Sigh.

Funny thing is if I only had my left eye, I would have passed.

Just had an eye exam last week. Already have bifocals but now have tthe beginning of cataracts. Get old sux.

with bifocals try moving your head so that you’re looking through the lowers when you need to read and the uppers when you’re not.

Yeah fuk this shit. Started going bad some 20+ years ago. Started out with readers then eventually had to do prescription bi-focals the last 10 years. Next exam/correction is at Lazer Eye Surgery Center. Technology has advanced so much and I'm done fuking around with my glasses 24/7.

Throw those away and go get your eyes examined.

Your left and right eyes are Not the same. Those POS readers are gonna do you more harm than good!

I'm pretty sure you have insurance. Use it and get some quality lenses!

I used the 1.0 readers for a couple years, then 1.25, then 1.5...

Now I'm up to 2.75.

I hope they make enough more numbers before I die.

I think that’s what a lot of people soon realize. They’re called “readers” but you need them for anything up close.
