Problem with that...unless the Pizza Hut Cree ratted him out to the school, his own superstardom is what sunk his ship. Pretty sure the teacher didn't go bragging. Having been a high school boy (decades ago ) I know lockerroom and weight room bragging was always a thing. This past week went to the grandsons first and second basketball game. Junior high 14-15 years old and a couple of those kids are neanderthals my grandson included. They have more facial hair than I could grow in 4 months! One kids is 6’3”!!

Might as well throw married chicks in there, but it's the reverse lol. Sad but true they can be the easiest. I turned one down who was smoking hot, it was the right thing to do but I regretted it for a long time but always snapped myself back to reality when I reminded myself her husband was a cop. Illustrated by the following scandals, you can see why our school was considered out of control compared to the other high schools in town. A few days ago, I posted about my friends Gavin Maloof and Tom Johnson selling keg beer in red Solo cups from the back of a van in the school parking lot. Around that same time, there was also a recent graduate selling lids from an ice cream truck.

Silverberg became the wrestling head coach when I was a senior, after Dan Jones resigned and moved his family away. His wife was caught smoking pot and drinking with wrestlers Anthony Straquadine and Dan Millican.

This happened about a week after 4A state champion Mark Haury was suspended for lighting up a joint on the team bus when we were heading back to Albuquerque after a match in Artesia. He was a couple of seats away from me, and I couldn't believe he was that stupid. The smoke spread throughout the bus in seconds.

Silverberg was a skinny 135 lb dick that knew nothing about wrestling compared to Dan. I gave him shit regularly, and he was too dumb to recognize it. He had a lazy eye, and while talking to him, one eye was pointed somewhere else.

So occasionally when he yelled at me for fucking off in practice, I would make a scene by slowly looking at everyone around me, finally focusing on his face and the good eye, and innocently say "Are you talking to me?"

It made him mad as hell, and it was all I could do to stifle my laughter.



Donny's sister Denise was one of the cheerleaders that did nude "treatment" sessions in the school's small stainless steel therapy hot tub. It was rumored she was screwing Dave Williams, the assistant football and baseball coach.

It wasn't the average high school.

All male teacher- female students and were not that secretive about it. I think 2 of relationships are still active 40 years later. Caught my math teacher with a friend of mine way out of our town, that was super uncomfortable for him, aint no way to explain that away.
Never liked the guy, described him as greasy. He was the teacher everyone said was cool but I couldn't rectify even in my 9th grade brain why he wanted to be one of us, made sense later.
