Elaborate a little more. Dunno what R92 diesel is, but it sounds like you're talking about a specific type of fuel... "65 Year old"???

Never heard of it here. Claims to be more environmently responsible, so it must be more expensive. 🙄

Do you mean R99?
If so:
Yeah we run it and it's excellent.

AKA "drop in" renewable fuel.
Reliable sources say can be run in any diesel engine.

Just change your fuel filter more often, correct

Pretty sure that’s what Costco diesel is at least in California. I heard a lot of fuel filter complaints from different places and on here so I typically stick to Sam’s Club. I will use it if there’s nothing else reasonably priced around me. I change my filter annually and only put around 10k miles on it so probably not going to plug up the filter either way.

I have a 2006 Duramax and have been running ARCO's R99 Renewable, since it came out without issue, I don't see an improvement or decline in mileage or performance, I change fuel filters at 10k, and run a fuel additive for lubricity from the ULSD.

IDK if it helps or not, but I know Sulfur was 500 PPM and they lowered it to 15 PPM, and they use sulfur as a lubricant.

R99 is not a diesel produced from waste oil, or any of those weird things that people put in Diesels.
It is pretty much the same as a Fossil fuel Diesel, only difference is it starts off as a Soy bean, and then is then process similarly in select Refineries.

I see a mileage drop using R99 but when I change the fuel filters, the secondary filter on the engine comes out like its never been used after 15k miles. I use Arch Oil additive every tank.

We only have two choices here in So CAL. I lose about a mile to mile and a half per gal. When I go to the river I always come back with real diesel, carry a tank in my tool box. That said CA is like a cancer so this R99 is apparently spreading.

I have had problems with B-20. Wildcard with that blend and where the station is buying it from IMO.

Might notice a slight power hit, but it could be that slight regen cycle power loss. No regen indication on our GM trucks.
R99 is brewed from wood mill waste and farm silage last I looked it up.

Arco is R99 they call renewable. They claim its not Bio diesel I run an additive for lubricity to offset the ULSD

And what is a cummings?
It's what gets washed out of the towels at Sherries Cherry Patch Ranch.
BTW: Bildoe recommends Big Helen.

We run it in the diesels and have noticed under load the trucks do 2-3 MPG better per tank. One big thing we have seen is a decrease in regen cycles when using it. I listened to a pretty long podcast from some American petroleum Institute nerds that had all good things to say about it.
