I heard there was a lot of robbing Peter to pay Paul type action. You won’t see them at poker runs this year. Just sayin.
We talking about black diamond or dla lol.

I was a day away from writing a check for a new performance boat we really liked.

Mentioned it to RD and got the bare-ass, butt naked truth about the sorry engine, the shady hull shenanigans, and on top all the bullshit glossy sales tactics that company was doing response back from RD.

RD even had previous serious "words" with the builder. They didn't like ARDY's opinion. RD never backs down.

We thus balked on buying it and glad we did.
The boat company eventually failed for all the reasons RD mentioned. Their lies became the truth.

Pays to really do research.

20 years later:
The former company owners and a former executive were at the bar in LHC a couple years back.
They were in town for Desert Storm and going to restart the boat company, spreading the word they are back in business and we got to talking.

I thought if I mentioned RD, the conversation would get really ugly, really quick.
I then remained quiet just to be sociable.

Update on Mr wachob. He just had his dispensaries and grow shut down. Had tons of his luxury items loaded up on trucks and hauled off. Such a shame he let that company fall to crap. Some family members and tons of friends lost their livelihood in that co pany. They worked there for many years and invested back into the company and now have been bent over. Rest in piss Derek wachob

Why are these scams so hush hush? 'Allegedly' I guess?
Because the people who got scammed hold onto the belief that it’s not a scam and they’ll get paid back. Or that the company just needs to raise money and they’ll get paid back from those proceeds not knowing that it will never come back to them and it’s just the owner scamming more people.

They know that if they open their mouth and let the whole thing collapse, then they’ll never get their money back.

That make sense. It seems like all the "money" guys run the same racket and people flock towards them.

What I don’t understand, is they’re all flashy, in your face look at me. I would think, it be the opposite, lay low under the radar.
Because it’s all about showing success so you can get the next investor to keep the Ponzi scheme going. It’s always about getting the next person. Makes people think the return on investment “can be” real.

1000%!! The flash gets people to think they are qualified and top of game. They have to be doing it the right way? I have seen the Instagram. Guys that show up on jobsites in fancy jeans, polo shirts and fancy shoes and a clean hard hat. 🤣🤣 All flash and nothing to back up. You think in a pinch he had tools ready to pitch in and solve a problem fast? I highly doubt it!! Hey Vin, go get me the left handed hammer!!🤣🤣

Old money versus new money. Most people with old money don't seem to be as flashy as new money. I still remember the owner of my old company that had generational wealth saying "Lambo's are for the new money group, if you truely have money, you have a car collection that no one knows about."

Some of the richest people I know you’d never even know it. Drive modest vehicles shop for clothes at target etc.

I’m not trying to drag the other guy into this but he had a friend/business partner with that red m37r. They would flip houses and build multi unit complexes. Anyone want to partner up and hustle a few people we can both have DCB’s lol
Where do I sign up?

I assume some fallout with them and pirate also since it’s no longer hosted there. Didn’t her dude pull a gun on cops a few years back too?
I've never heard of someone shooting at a cop and being released a few days later. I guess if you're affiliated it's not such a big deal.

Although some might not see it as a huge difference, shooting and pulling a gun are two vastly different things.
Regardless, the person with the gun would still be serving time.

No it’s a new one. There are two deep impact 399’s at supercat fest west this year and they are both new construction.

I believe both were purchased at supercat LOTO last year.

RD
My buddy’s gf dad just built a green midnight also that’ll be at supercat

I think that is @TVMNick new boat?
Not my boat! That’s Dustin Orozco’s 399. He bought before me but was some of the reason I started looking at Deep Impact. Dustin and his brother Charlie are down to earth good dudes that just love boating and spending time with their families.
