Anyone here suffer from foot pain, feet/legs swelling or neuropathy? I had never had any issues with any of these things until the last year or so. Had to have some bad veins closed off in both legs two years ago and that's when all this crap started. Now the bottoms of my feet stay swollen and burn all the time. It's not all that distracting yet, but it seems to be getting worse as time goes on. I've broached the subject with several doctors and they don't really give much of a shit about it.

So, I'm trying to be my own advocate and find out what aftermarket products works best (if anything does). I've researched OTC pills, CBD gummies among other products. I'm leaning toward CBD gummies. The web has hundreds of different gummies and they all say they are the greatest product out there. Looks like Fox News people, like Trey Gowdy, Hannity and Kaleigh McEnany are promoting them as well. Endorsing them via Kevin O'Leary (one of the TV sharks), who allegedly is speaking out about them, even promising to pay $10K if they don't work for you. Fat chance of that. LOL... Claims these gummies will stop the pain and even regenerate damaged nerves among other things cbd does for and to you.

Anyway, just wondering if any of you have these issues and have tried any of the available non prescribed products out there in the market? Most of all, do any of them work or is it all just bullshit?

I deal with neuropathy in one arm from car accident/nerve damage. CBD doesn't do anything for it, but works on other stuff for me. For pain, which is different than the arthritis pain, I've had good luck with rubbing DMSO on. Unfortunately, for numbness I haven't found anything yet.

Not OTC, but doctor has me on gabapentin for it. Doesn’t eliminate the pain, but definitely helps.

Sounds like it may be gout which can be triggered by diet.

I get nerve pain in my feet from planterfaciatis from running over the years. It's no fun. Not debilitating and doesn't happen all the time, but the cramping and burning sucks when it happens.

I use cbd cream and ibuprofen at night if I don’t have much to do next day. Makes me sleepy. I’m in for more remedies.

I’m dealing with a similar situation, my feet are almost numb. My last diagnosis I got they said it was reticulopathy .Been waiting on surgery (VA) for over 2 months. My arteries in my legs are blocked, can’t hardly walk and the pain can get pretty intense mostly in my calves. Have you had a CT scan? 😎

I had numbness and pain in my foot, and the podiatrist diagnosed it as plantar fasciitis. Then I had a deep massage on my back, and it switched feet!

Obviously, it’s a back problem, not plantar fasciitis. However, treating it like plantar fasciitis, with shoe inserts, rolling the ball, etc. did help. I’ve been lifting with a fitness trainer the past couple of years, with some extra work on my abs and lower back, and that’s been helpful as well. It’s still there, but not as severe.

Not yet. May have to later. I have good circulation to my feet now, but the bottoms of my feet stay swollen all the time. I think I'm going the OTC route first. I am frikkin' tired of taking prescribed pills.

My stem cell clinic has a couple of new options for folks with neuropathy. It's a HUGE problem with no inexpensive effective treatments as of now. Sorry to say.
Contact me if you want to chat about options.

I went a couple of years with random swelling in my feet, one doctor said Plantir, the other said Gout. Then I had MRI done on both feet, and the random swelling is now caused by Arthritis. I have broken both ankles and feet back when I was in High School, I guess I thought I was a pro motor crosser, ha. I started taking Tumeric (8 yrs ago) and I haven't had a flare up since.

Now fast forward, I have 50% blockage in my arteries in my legs (Type 2 diabetic), My toes get cold and sometimes it feels like they are asleep. A foot massage does wonders to alleviate. Only really bothers me Snowboarding now.

My wife is about 3 weeks post-op from back surgery due to crippling sciatica. Doc said the nerve was so compressed that paralysis would have set in soon.
She had gabapentin prescribed before and after. She says it is somewhat helpful but her case was extreme.

I have it in my right foot.. it’s fucking awful. It feels like you have a wrinkled sock stuck between the bottoms of your toes and the balls of your feet.. constant burning. God forbid someone touches it, it feels like you are being plugged into a 110v outlet..

I am assuming it’s mostly circulation problems and nerve damage from my ankle injury..

If there’s a solution I’m all ears

What stem cell options are there? My mother in law sufferes from neuropathy in her lower legs... she understands how she got there... Gastric Bypass surgery 10-15 years ago and one of things from that surgery is your body does not absorb copper naturally as it did prior and the copper depletion caused the neuropathy. There was guidance on how to make up for the copper depletion but she was not aware or following till it was too late. To the point now she needs a walker to help getting around. She finally got the diagnosis a couple of years now and has gotten somewhat better from her worse but still needs the walker.

We mostly use MSC (mesenchymal) cells that come from the umbilical cord and also the cord blood that are residual right after child birth. These are called adult stem cells even though they come from newborn babies to differentiate them from embryonic cells.

They work by killing inflammation and releasing healing compounds when they come into contact with inflammation. No bad side effects to worry about. These are not embryonic cells that can make existing cancers grow. Only FDA approved in a couple of states, but available via Trump's right-to-try law in the US.

Call me when you have a few minutes and you can decide if it makes sense to look into it further.

All that sounds great.... Only thing that may be a stumbling block is that side of the fam follows a religion that is avoids blood transfusions so not sure how she will feel about he cord blood....appreciate the guidance I never thought about stem cells for this condition until you mentioned it; but the way they work they seem like they would be the best tool to attack the inflamation and get the cardio vascular regrowth going. I will reach out if she is open to even exploration.

Yes, they are the best thing available today. We use a blend of 4 basic components for general inflammation reduction, but each patient receives their own custom
blend depending on the rest of their blood test results and medical history. When you get the infusion, you're not getting anyone else's DNA. There is a process in the harvesting that strips out the DNA from the cord blood.

Here's a good vid of Mel Gibson on Joe Rogan's pod cast talking about the stems we use......from 2017.... before Trumps Rite-toTry act when everyone was going to Germany, Panama and Costa Rica. Kobe Bryant used to go to Germany in the early 2000s and was getting stem treatments for his sprained hand, knee, ankle....whatever....long before most ppl had heard about stem cells. We also do PRP stem cells, but they are only 10% the efficacy of MSC's.

Call me when you get closer to needing more info.

I don't post here too often, but thought I'd share my 2 cents. I've been dealing with this crap for years......pins and needles, burning and aching feet. It's not a cure, but what has helped me, gabapentin and knee-high compression socks (although I only wear them around the house and when wearing long pants). Check out Bomba, pricey but the best socks you'll wear.

The meds the Drs put me on made me euphoric like over-doing lines of blow.

It helped a little. Have to be on it a long time for it to eventually help neuropathy.

No way could I drive in that condition.
Got off it as soon as I could.
I’ll ask the wife the name of that stuff when she wakes.

I haven't read the responses, but I had foot pain. When I cut out sugar(mostly) it got a lot better. Hardly any pain now.

I agree with sugar and carbs reduction helps because when you find a doctor who will explain the healthy gut does by not cause inflation but bad gut bacteria sets off a long and slow chronic inflammation that sets off pain in ankles and feet mimicking RA I found after living with foot pain for a year that felt like steeping on an electric short with every step taken. Took a couple weeks of diet change and amoxicillin to reset gut bacteria foot pain reduced 95% and still improving. Never knew it would have been so simple to end with out RA drugs that damage kidney.

I will have to second this.

PN in my feet was the trigger for my cancer treatment. It is a well-known symptom of Waldenström's macroglobulinemia (WM), my blood cancer.

A visit to the neurologist where they test nerves like bad spark plug wires was pointless he had nothing to offer except yes there was nerve damage.

But since I have been on a mostly keto diet since February I hardly noticed the PN in my feet it has much improved.

The other change physically I notice is I burp a lot!

I had sciatica last year and my right foot is still fucked up. It flops half the time when I walk. It aches all night long and gives me restless leg. Most days I’ll wake up and stretch and instantly get cramps in my foot. I try and stretch it as much as possible and use a theragun on it. Besides that I don’t get much relief from it. I’m starting to think the nerve damage in my back is never going to heal. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Have they ruled out arteriolosclerosis with an angiogram? I was getting calf pain and found out my femoral artery was 100% blocked. Had to undergo a roto-rooter procedure with a stent put in to keep the artery open. My neighbor was having extreme foot pain and it turned out an artety was a 100% blocked. After the angioplasty he was back to normal
