Buddy of mine bought a drop in 383 from them. Nice running motor and I didn't find anything wrong with it. Which doesn't happen much.

I bought a sbc 350 from them about 8 years ago with zero problems. Still runs like a champ today.

Yes waiting for my mechanic to see if the 496 or 454 will bolt up to my bravo 1 and if my intake will swap out. I have efi the carburetor motor won't fit under hatch I would have to modify hatch. I'm over putting any more money than I have to into this boat.

The “out of Florida” things is the most concerning for me

Ya, that was a little concerning to me too until the others chimed In regarding their experiences. Florida laws are quite different then ours and getting your money back if things go sideways could prove difficult.

Its a part in the fuel supply system used on those motors. Merc designed them using a tank as a fuel resevour, and it has a needle valve inside (needle / seat).

Like California and Arizona are any better lol. I was perfectly happy with that stroker was delivered as advertised.
