Brian wen way out of his way to make sure my T Rex was ready for this weekend. :). He even left his own thanksgiving so I could come and pick it up at his shop today. I got home from FL and my car hauler was in Anaheim.. I didn't want to tow it home and then right back so Brian held the car hauler for me and told me to pick it up on the way to thanksgiving at Stacy's grandparents.. It was ready to rock and roll and washed etc.. It really meant a lot t have it this weekend because we have the whole family Rollin out.. :)

Looks very nice, but I don't know how you guys afford 1000's of dollars to upgrade these UTV's. Blows me away and I even own one. Wish I could have a full cage, nice paint job, long travel, rear seat etc. But that would run me in the 1000's. Lucky you.

It's taken me almost 5 years to do all that to mine. A little bit at a time so it doesn't hurt the ole bank account so bad.

You are looking in the wrong places. You should be able to get a complete cage and back seat setup for under $1500 new. Hell you could probably find a used setup for half that.

Dave I've heard of LTI but don't know anyone who has one of their setups...until now.

So how did that setup ride/handle off-roading?

I couldn't tell you how it stacks up against the others because I haven't been in another Long Travelled T Rex yet.. I can tell you though from Stock to this.. I am mind blown at how well it performs.

I am happier with this upgrade, then I have been with any other upgrade that I've done to any vehicle I've ever owned period.

Stock these things are basically over grown "mules" on steroids.. With the addition of the LTI kit it transformed it into a full fledged little pre runner. I swear it feels like a mini trophy truck or something. It turns, it slides, it goes through whoops at 30 - 50 now (no more 5 mph whiplash b.s.).. I was sick all weekend so I didn't get to run it as much as I wanted, but the 4 - 5 times I did run it.... Wow.. Just wow. Like I said earlier, I don't think I've ever made an upgrade to anything I've owned, that I have been happier with.

More on that later. ;)

LTI was one of the first in the business to come out with long travel for SxS's. SigepMock had it on his rhino and when I rode in it I thought it was pretty nice. Felt heavy to me though.

$1500 for a cage, with $70 in materials, (less powder) you can buy a welder, and a bender, and save money!!

I agree, search around the net and you can find the stuff much cheaper ;) I am thinking of redoing my cage. and doing new cage, doors, roof, bed delte, ice chest rack, spare tire holder, etc. and Im less than $2k powder coated. I know he does cages in the $700 range.

This is the second person in as many weeks that I have heard about Brian really helping out. They guy who bought my Rhino broke a rear CV joint, and Brian went way out of his way to make sure that he was back up and running soonest....

Dave rode in my Rhino a while back with the LTI suspension, cage etc... and was equally mindblown. Absolutely the best spent money on the thing you can do. Night and day difference, especially if you do high speed desert cruising.

Regarding price, you get what you pay for. I have seen plenty of Rhino cages seriously malformed during rollovers. I took a doozy with mine, and the cage was essentially scratched. The design of it is extremely self supportive, the quality of materials and welding is superb, and the fit and finish can't be beat.

Spendy, yes... but absolutely worth every penny... especially when you are looking at the world upside down.

Also not for nothing, but my cage had to be built for me a little shorter to fit in the motorhome. Custom stuff is awesome, and it is great that there are craftsmen still out there doing great work getting the best stuff to us.

Agree 100%.
A dialed-in LT is the best money you can spend on a SXS.
It just makes everything...better. :thumbsup

Brian is a good guy.....

He has helped me out on 2 seperate occasions(Axel and Cir Clip) when I needed a quick fix. He didn't build my rhino and I haven't dropped alot of cash at his shop but he has alway come through.

Gotta give the guy props....He knows his stuff:)

Your like Smokey in Friday.. "You got mind control over RD.. When RD's here I be quiet... But when he leave I be talking again." :D

Now that everythings 200 miles away it's all balls to the walls.. When it was sitting in front of your house you were all quiet and "I gotta help my kids with their homework."

Brian up at LTI should have the monster edition shocks that just came off of mine, unless he sold them already. He should also have the green cage etc.. if you want to turn yours into a monster edition T-Rex.
