the amount of hydraulics in Indy are staggering. The fact it doesnt break everyday is a miracle. The amount of Hydraulics in the new Carsland are even more, and they work perfecttttttttt.... just saying:D:champagne:

I was there a few weeks ago and broke down on the Jungle Cruise. Guide fires three shots in the air and then we had to wait for the boat behind us to come tow us back. It's dark out there!

Spent 3 days at Disney last week with the kids. From what I could see of Carsland...wow. That must be the largest fake mountain in the US.

I think it was last summer that I was on Space Mountain when the cars stopped. Kinda freaky because after my car stopped I could hear the other cars moving and though for sure we were going to get rammed. They all stopped though as there are safety breaks at certain sections all over the ride. The lights finally came on and we had to sit for a while until they came and got us and we had to walk down the stairs and through the tunnel and out the ride. Was cool to see it all with the lights on.

My kid just got whiplashed on space mountain last week when it broke. Not really, but she said it hurt.

That's at Walt Disney World in Florida correct?

I was at Knott's yesterday and for stuck on that new roller coaster they have. It was only for a minute or two at the apex before the first drop but damn it freaked me out. Just the feeling of being strapped into that thing left me pretty helpless.

12 new rides and something 4-6 new restaurants. Cannot wait to get to try the ride out before the general public does...

Sounds like our plan to go when the Granddaughter is 5 in the spring of '13 will be about good to experience all this new stuff.
One of my "bucket list" things is to go down there and stay in a hotel served by the monorail or otherwise directly connected to the park, so we can go back and forth at our leisure. We didn't get to do it when the boys were young but we are going to make it happen with the little girl, trying to put a little $ away every now and then 'cause I know it won't be cheap.

I was in a leaders meeting last night and the projected opening is June 15th. That date is of course subject to change. Lots of new entertainment to support the new attractions as well.
