My day is starting out good, boss just came to me with a few tasks, makes my day go by a little faster. Today is my 15 year anniversary here at work, I asked for a cake, they laughed and said they would buy me a cup of coffee and a doughnut, I told them to cram it... LOL

Lots of good 4 wheelin in Texas I bet. I have a Jeep that I leave at my river place, there is a ton of Desert to explore out there, the winter is almost more fun then the summer, almost but not quite. Seems that in the winter I drink a whole helluva lot more beer, beer and off-roading just seem to go really good together...

I've heard horror stories from a couple Hygentists I know, pretty disturbing. I'm with you, I would much rather be boating, off-roading, hanging at the beach, just about anything other then golfing, guess you're not into playing with balls either... LOL

I work for the largest golf equipment manufacturer in the world, if you golf you'll know right away. I run the Facilities computer software system, tracking work orders, spare parts, labor, purchasing, fun crap like that...

Well, stay strong, keep the fluids going in your body, get a ton of rest, maybe one of the Texas Hotboat peeps will come to your rescue, I can send you some soup and theraflu but it probably wont show up until you're feeling a lot better. Had a great weekend as well, got caught in a huge rainstorm on Saturday, tried to wait it out on the river, after about an hour and a half we decided we'd had enough, headed to the launch ramp, went to get the truck, waited in the launch line for an hour, my daughter wasn't to happy about having to sit in the marina waiting for me, told her that's the shitty part about being my first mate, you're stuck waiting for me... LOL I didn't get to injured, didn't drink enough Captain or Vodka either night to hurt myself...

well thats cool...... land slides dont sound like a fun time.. we dont have those here in the great state of texas...lol or wild fires.... just wild heat and crazy times...

Not a lot that they can do with it really, bad thing is it creates land slides when we get rain, which obvoiusly creates a whole new problem. I'm not really certain which towns it's effected, I can tell you that I am over 100 miles to the South and I could see smoke this morning until about 10, we got an on shore breeze so most of it has been blown East. Pretty gnarly to say the least...

They are saying that the fires wont be under control until the middle of the month, they are really bad, 219 square miles, over 140,000 acres, that is just one fire, it's a monster.

So far so good, little warm today, the horizon is filled with smoke from the LA fires. 68 chilly? That's our highs some days, nearly perfect... LOL

Beautiful here in San Diego, blue skies and pretty mild temperature wise. They aren't so lucky up in LA, that huge fire is moving rapidly, hope that they can get it under control sooner then later...

Not a fan of the Coors Light, I really like the new Bud Light Lime, it's a great beer when I get off the water and it's still 115. You were at that bash? Was your Dad's boat there? One of the blue and white ones that were anchored looked like your Dad's. I wasn't real sure though. I usually take a ton of pictures, I forgot my camera this past weekend, this coming weekend I will for sure, should be pretty crowded since it's the last holiday of the summer, although we usually boat until late October early November, then it's off roading time...

Just checked out the Colorado River videos that D-Man posted in the Jets section. Looks like a great time, fast boats, big roosts and friends chilling. Very Cool...
