Why can’t we all just be like Dan (?) @H20 Toie , and post about a life-changing boat we bought 20 years ago? His post was great, he had boating content, a great story and a photo. What’s with this callout crap?

That being said, I’ve got a doozy of a callout thread that I’ve been debating posting. This seems like the week to do it. I think they advertise here too.

Boat repair company or not, and I don’t care if there is 6 lanes operating, IF THERE IS A LINE, and your boat isn’t there to be picked up, don’t hog a lane. Maybe that wasn’t the case here but sounds like Prestige was sitting on a lane or two waiting for the owner in a boat.

And I agree, poor way the employee AND owner handled it. Sometimes you gotta swallow your pride and be courteous especially with potential customers.

Ha ha ha. Was it really or just saying that?
He said it was taking on water and I was supposed to understand the situation
I think those are the bilge fittings on the side with nothing coming out

While we're on the topic on inconsiderate people, I took my family to Lake Havasu last weekend to enjoy a nice meal and parking was limited naturally due to the large number of Aholes from Orange County invading what once was was a quiet enclave. Low and behold, some knucklehead decides to park some sign truck taking up 3 spots behind one of our favorite establishments and I decide to confront him about his parking job. First thing out of his mouth after his puff of a cigarette is " any idea who I am? " Nothing smoked worse than his under worked generator. I'll never go back there again.

Kinda of a fuzzy screen there. Maybe RD should call out Danimal on that.

Thank you
I didn't even see the boat on the lake that they were waiting for.
If it was in fact taking on water then I could see them sitting there but the driver didn't say that.
It's 6 lanes but a small area. Maybe 6 bass boats at one time.
No way you could swing in a 28 fun deck in the first lane let alone the 2nd one if people are parked there

Get off my lawn.🧐

My wife has significant vision issues and I often find myself launching and retrieving our 38 (and the boat before it) by myself. The last few times at the Rivera and never on a weekend. No choice, but I hustle when doing it. She is able to hook and crank it in so there’s that.

Haven’t had an issue with doing it although in all cases it wasn’t crowded. Just one or two others at any given time.

You guys are confusing ramp etiquette with a Boat shop working and dealing with a boat problem at the launch ramp. They are NOT some dipshits learning how to launch and retrieve a boat taking time and space on a launch ramp because they are clueless. Any boat shop in town could’ve been there doing the same thing and they may be there 2-3 times a day if not more when they are busy.
Just because it’s a nice day and you are in a hurry to go boating and are pissed because of only one launch ramp being open and your perception is them being inconsiderate when they are there everyday and working. Believe me. They do not give a FUCK that you are in a hurry to go play. You sound like a tourist and should have a little more sense than to call them out for doing a job. Havasu is a small place. Use caution before talking shit out there.

Don’t have to tell me. That vicious bitch jumped me and spilled my beer all over me then tried to lick my face off. Dogs like this need to be put down and belly rubbed.
She was just a little puppy then. Lol

You wouldnt believe how big and strong she is now

Let’s all take a step back and put ourself in the boat owners shoes. Would any of us care if our boat was being worked on so that we could enjoy it for the season and made people wait a little longer to launch? I sure as fuck wouldn’t.

Wish I had taken a picture of the donkey at Huntington Harbor Launch Ramp yesterday when I was pulling my boat out.
This joker didn't block the launch ramp . . . he blocked the access 'TO' the launch ramp !!!! 😆

I kid you not . . . I thought he had jack-knifed since the whole rig was cocked off to the side . . . but when I walked by I noticed him laying on his back under the outdrive working on something with his wife standing there looking at her phone looking all pissed off.

I thought to myself, 'This guy's already got bigger problems'. 🤪 . . . . . I was able to snake around the opposite side & sneak my way in.

2 callouts in one week!!

Yeah it’s nice to open the ole website and see this tonight…. lol

Should be noted I had just left two messages for ole Chris today about sponsoring supercat..

I’m sure he thinks I coordinated this at this point.

Ha, at least he went over and talked to the guy. Apparently I'm an asshole for not doing that.

We see how it worked out though. 🤭

Replace the word asshole with cunt and I believe we have the bases covered for this thread..

To be noted I’m not saying that just quoting the posts I deleted. Had they used the word bitch.. probably wouldn’t have deleted them. lol

*pertains to advertisers *cough,cough.

I’m curious as to how many of these bullshit things you can actually attest to that..

You are the second guy today to question my character publicly. Maybe I’m old school but I do take that shit kinda personal because I give up a ton to do right by a lot of people.. and hour by hour I raise more money for legit direct charities than any person you know.
