Maybe a pump station for the sewers?

When we got sewer hook up in Marina Village we already had the pump in place because the land across the street belongs to MV and that's where the septic tanks were. We lucked out.

It’s All ok….

Dont Panic …

after all it only took 10 years to get Mexico in line w/ a treatment plant to help keep the beach water clean in Chula Vista, Ca.

they just did a start up on the new facility and now treat 18m gallons a day !

nothing to see here….

it will be fixed in no time !!

I have only been in Parker a short time (24 yrs); sure many on here have had places much longer than that....but I have been hearing they will have sewer up near the dam in 2 yrs every 2 yrs. Literally just heard in the last month bonds were going through; they were starting to bid the project and it would be two years... Literally 30 days later the city is saying no growth, no new expansion to the existing sewer system. Unfortuntately I don't have a lot of faith in what Parker says vs what they do.

How many tax dollars do these proud people get on an ongoing basis, plus legalized gaming and now water rights leasing not to mention covid millions.

Now they haven't been maintaining a sewer and want a hand out? Where did the money go? Never get in bed with these fucks.

When I was your neighbor and on the board I was on first name basis with the director for the sewer system project. He was a great guy, recently on the job and had accomplished a lot. Im not sure if he is still there. The status above you state is where we were in 2015-2018. All approved, bonds going out and bids for the construction of the River island (across the street) processing plant. He had even secured a grant for the road tear out and repair in MR and a 50% reduction in the hook up.

The buckskin project may, I say may, not be tied at the hip with the Parker mess. The treated effluent for the Buckskin plant was to be treated and punched back into the river at River island via under the wash. Since so much of the Buckskin project was financed via bonds and Federal tax money, Im not sure how much will be effected by the Parker situation. I just assume stay on septic, but if it fails and you are 75’ from the river your new system will be roughly $30-40k to put in.

It doesn’t mention anything about La Paz County or Buckskin Sanitation District, so I’m not sure where the lines are drawn on this issue. I’m guessing this affects Parker proper and the adjoining CRIT infrastructure, but who knows how far up river this will impact, and if they’re connected project.

Joint venture only services the Town of Parker...
Up river is county, and falls under buckskin sanitary district.
This is a new construction moratoriam and there is not a whole lot of construction going on.

Colorado River Sewage System Joint Venture is in the town of Parker and CRIT Reservation (including Blue Water Lagoon). It has no connection, physical or political, with Buckskin Sanitary District, nor with anything on the California side.

It’s a good thing that the Early Bird has the high ground on their toilets. 😆

So now we all have to reprogram the whole "two weeks" to "Two Years" x several more "Two Years."

Hopefully CRIT will allow Turd Dumping at their current treatment plant. I'm not worried about river piss as we have all been swimming in that for, well in my case...58 years. It used to be Horseshoes and Hand grenades but now were knee deep in "shit fights."

Many of the construction folk will be gone if this issue isn't resolved pronto.

Anyone think now that all of Havasu is on sewer and pumping effluent into the lake that the system runs 100%, 100% of the time?

LOL ever get a call from the town saying, “don't put anything down your drains for 6 hours we are having issues at the plant”?
