We were on the north side and there was at least a dozen. There are docks on the other side but not sure how many. There was a sign noting that dock expansion was coming. The slips are singles and looked on the small side but the big boats and pontoons did fit. Docks looked new and are really nice.

lol we sat on the docks for about three hrs..

I got the first beer at foxs minutes before it opened and wanted to continue the tradition at ghost mine.

We packed beers for the day, but we didn’t expect to be on the docks that long so we eventually ran out.

However we pulled some strings and managed to finagle a 12 pack out of the store.

Pics above are as the bar is opening and while we were check #38 the earlier ones were test checks according to management so I got the coveted 001 check. (Look on the right).

The bar is bad ass, and the food was good!! It took them about 30 minutes to start getting systems and processes a 100% dialed in, but honestly everyone was happy to be there so we all got through it together.

It was pretty cool to see all the boats hovering around and waiting for slips, reminded me of the river back in the busy days.

Staff was awesome! I think they shoulda named it gold mine saloon though, because that’s what it is!

When the houses start going in this place is going to be bonkers cool.

How is you kid getting there? Boating over from havasu or driving? I think that would be the biggest challenge with the place.

Absolutely. And it usually revolves around good help. My comment was more to the way the riviera is run, the staff, the accommodations, the vision. Seems like this ghost mine place is on the same page. Place looks amazing for sure.

Are on you on FB? Lady posted about her parents owning the concession before Havasu palms. It was the signature drink back then. She was forwarding the recipe to the new concession. Not sure if they had added it to the menu. She posted a little history along with it.

Craig owns a bunch of rental boats and has a ferry for the employees. My buddy and neighbor is one of the primary contractors on the build of the place and his wife helps run the store (she is one of the women in Dave's photos), this weekend nick is helping with security and driving the ferry boat for the employees
