Dave in your opinion who is the go to extended swim step company?
Depends on budget. I got quotes from all of them when I added 1. The Lake Havasu guy was not around then.Dave in your opinion who is the go to extended swim step company?
Is swim platforms lake havasu the same as phoenix?Depends on budget. I got quotes from all of them when I added 1. The Lake Havasu guy was not around then.
Nordic Through John was $4500. The rest were 5500+.
I ended up using swimplatforms out of Phoenix. Kasey was who I dealt with. Met the owner when I picked it up. They made the template and did installation. You can order and install yourself for a Magic. They did not have the template for my Cobra. They matched the stainless rub rail the gelcoat. All in was $2200. Sure it is a lot more these days.
No havasu copied there name. They are newer in the business. Phoenix has been around forever. They build thousands of swim platforms a year. Owner used to work for one of the big production boat manufacturers. Is swim platforms lake havasu the same as phoenix?
Hope to see ya there!I’ll goto cover the show and probably stay one night at the hotel on site. I always enjoy it!
But honestly I love all boats.. I can’t help it. I’d love covering a fishing show.
Hope to see ya there!

My.......how things have changed in the last 25 to 30 years. The L.A. Boat Show would always have between 23 to 24 different performance/California style boat brands on display.Looks like

On top of that they stuff them in the last available hall like the red headed step children they’ve become.My.......how things have changed in the last 25 to 30 years. The L.A. Boat Show would always have between 23 to 24 different performance/California style boat brands on display.

Is there 20 west coast performance guys still in biz?I can think of maybe 10-12 max

I believe Conquest/Group 1 Marine is still around in Havasu -- and so is Cheetah as far as I know -- and I think Nordic is still building Halletts and Eliminator will do a new Stoker if asked. Pretty obvious though, a majority of the performance builders just aren't doing boat shows. And what's up with Luxe pontoons?I forgot commander, carrera and interceptor that's 18.
