Stupid question from a guy who owned a jet boat many many moons ago- what is the housing on top of the Jet?

It relives the pressure from the bowl so when you let off the throttle at high speed you don’t turn your jet boat into a submarine

We have a good polisher that is reasonable and I am right down the street from you. He picks up and delivers.

They did my intake manifold and it looks great, worth the shipping costs. I sent them a very very rough factory casting, phone camera does not do it justice.

im not ships personnel so I’m not entirely sure but I think it’s emissions regulations with jet boats.

I suspect they may be willing to do a complete outboard build?
I may be wrong there.
You should contract them to build you one so we can find out
