We will be at Pirates. Not really looking forward to it LOL. First time without a boat so I think I will just sit on the beach with a drink and watch the madness.

I got the call on the way out that motor is ready for pick up. Hoping to get everything picked up and installed within the next few weeks.

LOL not yet, just pulled my heads out of the shop because the guy has had them for two months and has done nothing aside from pressure test. My fault for taking them to this guy.

When I was growing up we boated out of McIntyre, had an RV there for years then moved into the mobile home there. Anyhow, we went out for the 4th EVERY year. Was one of the highlights of my summer. And EVERY year we went into Blythe and watched fireworks at the football stadium out on the field put on by the city. They handed out "Big Stick" popsicles to all attendees.

This year we'll be in Hawaii hosting my Mom. She loves the 4th and her B-day is on the 6th so it will be fun to be with her. Maybe I'll buy some Big Sticks for ol' times sake.

I'll be on my dock, no way I'm going out there in a boat. The WORST weekend to boat. The roughest, most crowded, bad driver weekend on the planet.

I've done both Arrowhead and Havasu for years and the weekend before or after (depending when the 4th falls) is always much better.

I really wanted to go to McIntyre, got a lot of friends with places there but the RV spots were all booked. I have reservations for the 5th on thru the week so we will see how it goes whether we move down there or not

Haven't stayed at the RV park yet, but it looks nice. Ramp is good, 2 lanes with sandy beach next to it out of the current. We always hang out in back bay which is right around the corner. Bummer that Lazy Harry's shut down, was always a good hangout place with bad food but the beer was cold!

What years were you at McIntyre? We had a place there for 10 some years but I think that mobile in the compound was set up for rentals.

We were supposed to be out Thursday - Wednesday but baseball changed those plans. Now it looks like we are leaving Saturday at some point and staying until Friday. Works out good because I am really looking forward to some mid week boating after the craziness. We will probably boat on Sunday though, just depends on what time we get in on Saturday as it will have to be an early launch I think. No boating on Monday and then boat Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Been here since Monday. Doubt I’m putting the boat on the water been hanging out on various beaches just relaxing. Last couple days on the state beach just south of Windsor ramp and I was reminded on how the Popo sits out there with the binoculars and waits for you to slip in your wet flip-flop so the cruiser in the parking lot and bag you as soon as you put your keys in the ignition. Nautical pool till 9 lasnte. Today mayb channel camp for the afternoon. Tomorrow who knows. Gonna run to Ft Mohave Fri to pick up some parts so may hang in Needles. Just cruising. No master plan. Haven’t touched the boat since the classic boat dealio how do you know how vdrives are always needing something. Too hot to be wkn on shit outsidern.

We had the Teppan guy that @Tank, and @Bigbore500r recommended. He came out and cooked for 30 of us on site 16 for Fathers Day, it was awesome! His food was great and nobody had to cook or clean!
