I was looking at CP's website and they seem reasonably priced. Is there a better deal to be had or an RDP discount code I don't know about?

TCM is offering free shipping right now. Give Eric a call and I'm sure he can help you out.

Don't forget to buy a new water temp and oil psi sender. The Faria and Autometer gauges have different ohm readings.

I don't think Teague would sell Auto meter gauges.

Save yourself the aggravation and buy a better gauge. You will regret the Auto meter

Based on personal experience back in 07. Had so many fail changed them all out to Livorsi

You know I thought to myself.. "No way.. TCM has to sell Autometer" and I went to their website, and you are right, all they have is Livorsi?

I read somewhere awhile back that they are all the same gauges with just different casings / bezels.. Not sure if that's true or not, but I'd believe it.

Let's talk Autometer for a second. Does anyone know of a Nascar or NHRA car that does not use Autometer? Now let's go a bit further. Does anyone know a super high performance boat that does not use Autometer? Your first thought is yes, many boats use Livorsi. Guess what? All the things that make that Livorsi tick, are made by Autometer. Make a big enough order and you too can have a "custom" face plate made for your Autometer gauges. [emoji2]

Beat me to to it. I've seen several boats with the logos on the gauges.

I had Autometer gauges in my previous truck mounted on the a-pilar. That truck was driven everyday for 6 years and I never had an issue with a gauge or have heard anyone in the diesel world having issues with their gauges. These trucks get driven daily unlike boats and etc. My 19' has a set of the carbon gauges. Great product IMO.

I need to get a new GPS puck for my speedo. I am lucky enough to have the unit with the battery.

We are all Livorsi here @ TCM. I can order some Autometer misc, but we are technically not a dealer?? I usually just tell people to convert to Livorsi, where you can talk to the people who actually assembled the gauge and have many, many custom options.

Livorsi gauges used to be Autometer guts, rims and misc, but they no longer have any ties with Autometer.

That's exactly what I am getting this winter. Looks awesome! We're those the polished bezels? Or chrome?

They are the old purple ones that were on there originally. I just stripped the anodizing/powder coating (whatever it was) off, and re-polished them. Not chrome.

Not Autometer, but still with the big chrome ring and billet bezels behind.

I think the am come with white bulbs and red covers. I'm sure you could spec out some blue led that would work.

Nice.

Does anyone know if the bulb covers can be changed on the Livorsi or the AM Marine Gauges? I would like all the gauges to light up blue at night.

I changed the bulb covers on the Auto Meters in mine to the blue... Don't waste your time, it looks green, and is way to dim. Spend the money on the colored LED bulbs that AM has for them. I'll be changing mine this winter.

My boat had all autometer when I bought it, memory tach was broken (improper install) so I sent it back to them for service.
They sent me a brand new gauge for cost of shipping even after I told them it was already installed when I bought the boat.

I just bought a set this season from Eddie marine. They were the cheapest I found. They are the platinum/chrome. Love em. uploadfromtaptalk1407970277010.jpg

I'm really digging the clean look of polished. I loved the anodized look, maybe I'm just tired of it temporarily. But I'm going to be switching my anodized parts to polished. The silver face gauges really seem to look nice whether AM or livorsi

I switched out the Faria guages for Autometers on my old Ultra 210 RS. Kept all the same senders worked fine.
Only problem was I lost almost 10MPH. That Faria speedo was very happy Autometer was within a couple MPH
of the GPS. I would go with the polished bezels If I did again.

WTF? How can the fuel guage needle go past the stop pin?

It's an autometer thing. I have, laying around somewhere 4 autometer oil pressure gauges (mechanical) out of my old racecar...one is stuck at 40psi, one wouldn't go past 40psi, one is stuck around 83, and the other stopped working all together.

Yeah...nascar is all about autometer...they install them right there next to their 2 MSD boxes...The dashboard in a nascar is all about reliability. :D

Have used auto meter gauges in lots of different stuff I've owned. All have worked great except the tach in my boat. For some reason it will occasionally bounce around at cruising speeds. I think it's an issue with the wiring or the coil though. I've got a new coil I've been meaning to put in it for a while now so we'll see if that fixes it.

Livorsi would be my first choice. Not an Autometer fan.

Autometer gauges run water temp from 100 to 250. Livorsi is standard 100 to 280. Livorsi uses the same sending unit as standard Mercruiser. Your readings will be off with Autumeter unless you change the standard Merceuiser sending unit.

Oil pressure for Autometer is 0 to 100, Livorsi is 0 to 80 which is also standard Mercruiser. Again you need the Autometer sending unit to get the correct reading.

It's just annoying shit and by the time buy and change the sending units they aren't any cheaper.

Perfect! You guys are giving me a great idea of what they will look like with my blue bezels.

Ultra Lucky, I really liked your old boat! I would have bought it last year if I wasn't so determined to find a closed bow. I notice you had tach gauge with the built in hour meter. Is there a way to program the hours into it, or would I just restart at zero?

Here's what I'm currently working with. My powdercoat is the blue/purple color that Dana made specifically for Ultra. I really like the unique color.

I have an Indmar 502. Will I run into the same problem?

Hook the tach up to power source for the # of hours you need to add. I am looking for a big block closed bow now, hard to find.

How hard is it to replace the gauges. Just do a wire for wire swap. Plug and play kinda thing.

Livorsi comes with a harness now. They aren't hardwired like traditional gauges.

They should come out with a marine geared set of gauges
I can envision it now....BOATMETER

Fuel gauge that reads in $$$
Speedo that reads 10mph high
Volt gauge that reads in "hours of stereo left"
Ice chest temperature
Trim gauge that rates big jugs and nice asses (1-10 scale)
Depth gauge that reads from"prop damage - to - your anchor wont touch"
