Super bowl appetizer... bacon wrapped jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese. The bomb! You need:

2 large (26oz) cans of jalapenos
1 24oz tub of cream cheese
2 pkgs off bacon
Tooth picks
And time!

I cut the top of the peppers, then cut in half. Cut both packages of bacon in half. Then stuff the jalapenos with the cream cheese, wrap with bacon and stick a toothpick in it to hold it together... and makes it easier to grab.

Bake in the oven 375* for 15-20min.

Tried something extra this time. I got a few habenaros (sp?) and some serranos as well. We'll see how those come out.

These will be going into the oven shortly.

I did mine this year stuffed with breakfast sausage mixed with cream cheese, then bacon wrapped them and sprinkled parmesan cheese over the tops.

I mix 1 brick of cream cheese with 3 cups of sharp cheddar and a tablespoon of Worchestershire then stuff and wrap. Cook for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Usually there is enough stuffing left over to make another batch a week later.

I mix in the sausage as well with the cream cheese, definitely everyone's favorite app when I bring them over to bbq or one at my place. I am kind of partial to potato bombs myself, Back2BigRiver has shown me the way to being a bbq all star. :thumbsup
