McCurdy's is here in Sarasota. We go there a lot. Last week we went to see Larry the Cable guy. So Les McCurdy comes out and tells a story about how Larry which isn't his real name was doing a bit on Tampa radio. The bit was Larry the cable guy. Les tells him he should do a whole show just doing the Larry the Cable guy bit. He says no until Les tells him he can do a 3 days at his club. He did and that is how Larry the Cable guy was born. Larry said the story was true.

Saw Larry at SDSU a long time ago. Man he is a lot heavier now. He still puts on a great show.
