Going through some of this post I have no clue what happened causing the drama, I saw a guy excited that he made an amazing investment, not shy to share, nothing different than all the LAM threads with new boats, cars, toys, houses in my opinion. There are people that stay secret with everything they do like it is a GOV TOP SECRET Event or Action, I laugh at those people wondering who gives a fuck if you want or not want to disclose things about your life, and if someone wants to disclose anything about their life or finance that is up to them, and you don't like it, DON'T LOOK. Simple.

Exactly, so happy he made money on some investments. Was I a little jealous? Fuck yeah but I didn't care about the LAM part of it, got other things to worry about.

Someone mentioned it earlier. If you're going to lift your skirt up, people will stare and make remarks. It's just how life is and how people are. You can't control it. If it upsets the OP then it probably shouldn't have been posted. If you love the attention then great. C YA has been around long enough to know the types of responses to come...
Keeping stuff on a down low or secret isn't really a bad thing. Anyone that has been to Horseshoe bend in the 90s and again within the past 10 years will know what I'm taking about.

Does anybody remember when he first started posting here? He was hesitant about posting because he didn’t know if anybody gave a shit about Florida boating. That he was a captain and his experiences with the waterway. So he hesitantly started posting. About his experiences. I thought they were cool and informative.
I get that he wanted to share his success, but you gotta know that’s gonna change peoples perception of you. I like the analogy uplifting your skirt. Lol. Like I said, I enjoyed his conversation we had. And he seemed very generous. But as usual, you don’t need to take shit from people on the Internet. Nganga And others have also proved they don’t have time for negative experiences with a bunch of people they don’t even know.

I left RDP for about 6 years; I doubt anyone noticed either 😅 Just quit posting one day and quit visiting the site altogether.

I rarely post, (my two post this week are prob the first in 7 months or so) and in general, I don't visit or post on any forums or social media. I got rid of my Instagram too, and man, it's been great. I'm just too busy with life in general.

C-ya seemed fine, and his Nvidia thread didn't bother me one way or another. However, if he is telling anyone he doesn't visit this thread (like one of the post in this thread mentions), he's full of shit. The whole reason to post a thread like this, is to get a reaction and see what it uncoevers.

I enjoyed what he shared here and was hoping to meet him in South Florida if we had time…we are currently in Ft Myers.

I am not completely sure if this applies to him but you can usually tell when people are used to being the only voice in a room. I have worked with plenty of them.

I know I have it set up to receive an email alert when someone PM's me, he might have that turned on as well. I'm planning a trip to Florida this summer but we weren't gonna have time to meet up with him, I'm planning to go back next year🤞, if he's not back I might try sending him a PM. A 3hr tour sounds great, what could go wrong 🤔 🤣

I don’t think his intent was ever to brag about it. Rather, he was excited and genuinely felt the need to tell someone. However, I don’t imagine anyone could ever post about a gain of $4M+ (maybe twice that with Palantir included) without sounding like bragging at some point to some people.

It was unfortunate that he lost his cool, as it all could have blown over in about 24 hours if the keyboard crap had just stopped before it escalated to the Fuck You stage. I’m sure he regrets posting about his Nvidia gains, as he’s indicated, as well as the thread blowing up. I don’t know C-Ya, but I hope this crap isn’t rattling around in his brain, because in the big scheme of life it’s unimportant. Heck, if this thread was deleted, would anybody care?

The good thing that came out of this is it taught me not to post about my fabulous Powerball win just in time. Whew! I don’t need every RDP member hitting me up for a new boat.

Since I am waiting for the game I decided to surf and have read the entire thread but a few (I guess stupid) questions
Please define the frequently used acronyms for me, LAM, Nvidia etc. This will help me absorb,,,,just for the record, I'm on here when I have spare time before bed and/or achieve boat restoration accomplishments

Sure……. I love the fun threads. However, those are becoming less and less.

I would like to point out that I boated many members around SoFlo. Since I am leaving, I will share the secret they alll agreed to keep. They all swore to keep secret that I wouldn’t except 1 nickel for boat gas for any reason whatsoever. I am hoping that the reader might get a glimpse of my character. You reach out to go boating in SoFlo with me, only to learn it will be at my expense. You should see the shock it created. One exception, was when I lent Steaming Rice my car and he filled it with gas. He did not have to do this, but I think he gave me a taste of my own medicine. lol His character is unquestionable.

Ive enjoyed the stock threads……….. but in hindsight, I regret, without a doubt, the NVDA thread I started. I really just want to walk away from it. I hate the thread. I truly should have kept that info to myself. If I were the braggart that I have been accused of being……… I would have a PLTR thread. I have resisted letting RDP know how much I own. I mention this because I didnt have to wait 11 years for an explosion. All I did was make a mid 6 figure purchase when it was $15. It’s currently competing with my NVDA holdings. Theres no way I am discussing my BOLD purchase, and why.

Just some random ranting……

Here is something to think about. When discussing a boat for sale in SoFlo, a qualified interested party does not ask…….. How fast is it? If they do, you know the mentality of your potential buyer. (What’s its range, what’s it best fuel consumption at what rpm, etc) Only the Bozo’s ask how fast is it.

How you guys can boat it the hot Arizona summers without shade is a mystery to me. But what do I know?

It’s time to take a break. I might be back, I might not. I really don’t know. I’ve stopped caring.

I will share this nugget…….. After several years of relentless harassment by a neighbor, I just filed a lawsuit. So don’t envy my situation. I am considering selling everything and moving on because of the never ending harassment. It’s because I own 2 docks instead of 1. Jealousy. Which I am no stranger too.

Again……… I should have done this when I got back from Australia. I am sure those that don’t like me will be sure to let you all know in this thread. I fully expect the trolls to come out from under the bridge? Either way, I won’t see it. I am logging off now.

Most of my friends I've known for a very long time, who are multi millionaire businessmen, never talk about their worth.
Just found out that there are two guys who are track members, are multi billionaires. Only reason I found out that, after put their names on the forbes list, LOL. Cool dudes, I'll never ask them about their money.
One person, who's a boater too I've met in person is Kyle Washington, who has a Canadian residence. He had a 47 Fountain.
His Dad has Attessa III/IV. Kyle is a cool dude, he attended school with a buddy of mine.
