Fox’s Rv and Resort Closing

Heard Fox’s lease ends in March and might not be renewed. Allegedly, there might be condos built. Anyone know anything in regards to Fox’s potentially closing next year? I sure hope it doesn’t!

Dave, I heard both Foxs and the Sandbar next door are being auctioned off by the State of Arizona and that both leases are up in April.
Just got proof of the Sandbar Sale.
My brother keeps a trailer there and got the note below.
Gotta believe there is a lot of truth to the rumor.

Honest question(s) . . . are those properties in high demand??? . . . Meaning is there a shortage of parks (or facilities) near and around that area that this property could potentially become? Hard for me to wrap my head around the cost to build vs the return on investment . . . (Sundance comes to mind).
Is the lease simply up and the state just wants the money??? Or do they want' these facilities closed and gone ???

Obviously I know the strip is super popular . . . I was just curious if there was more demand than supply and hence the sale vs a lease renewal??? . . . what am I missing?

Two different entities. The land recently auctioned on the Island at Havasu was Arizona State Trust (Held in trust for colleges and schools to benefit from), the land under Foxes and Sandbar is the State of Arizona, not the trust.
