Humberto's vs. Fillibertos

[ONE-A-DAY]

It always amazes me that two drive through Mexican restaurants would be side by side and practically share a drive way and both survive. I switched from H to F a few years back, not sure why, just love their breakfast burritos.

Fillibertos is 24 hours, great place to go after bars close.

I hit up Filibertos last time I rolled through and got the worst California burrito I have ever eaten. Made me happy to eat right again afterwards so I don't get stuck with a $8 crap burrito.

Humbertos food us better but their service sucks. Everything I walk in there I get ignored for 10 min before they come to the counter. That made me go to filibertos since but their sausage sucks! And the other good is OK. As hank stated...the Breakfast burritos at El coral carniceria are fuggen bomb and cheap. On a side note.... I don't believe there to be any GOOD Mexican food places in havasu. They are all barely OK.

I don't know about you Wally? I can't visit Havasu without having my fix for a Tripas burrito but requesting them to be doraditos (extra crispy)at humbertos. I can tell you no one in LA comes close to making them this way.In fact we went twice yesterday for 99 cent taco thursday.

I remember that day. We stood there for what seemed an eternity. Even the cook in the back looked at us a few times.

The guy leaves it on the griddle about 30 seconds too long and it makes kind of crust on the bottom ... soooo good.

Fillibertos breakfast burritos.

Made a stop off there the other weekend and got 4 steak with guac breakfast burritos. Still tastes damn good on the water. Really helped calm down the buzz I had going while launching the boat @ 4am when the bar's all closed down and we thought it was a good idea.... [emoji23]

Probably won't be doing that again.

Sounds like I need to try the breakfast burritos at El Corral.Guess I've been lucky never getting shitty service at Humbertos.

I tried Montana steak house this week for the 1st time ever based on RDP recommentations....good food good service.Had the ribeye and it Rocked!
