I'm a flat bill hat guy. Do you wear a hat while boating, do you turn it backwards while running?
I can run with no issues up 50mph anything over that I take it off or turn it around. I'm asking because several times I have had to turn around and pick up a hat someone lost and every time it has been a curved bill.

Try to keep it on as much as possible (burn the shit out of my head if not). Wind deflectors are good to 50 ish, toss it down and step on it when in a hurry or windy days.
I have a no turn around rule for flying hats. Would suck if my own rule was used against me.

I wear the curved style RDP sweatproof hat. Anything over 40 I have to take it off and put in my pockets like LOF does. Wearing it backwards doesn’t help either

There is only one way to wear a bill and that is curved! Come on flat bill.... really....how many times were you dropped on you head as a child, did the doctor need to test your skull? Is your idea of a cool vacation flying up to hang with Grads? Flat bill vrs curved.... really

Think of all the famous players A-rod, he is currently Nailing J-Lo, Maverick- ya top gun he nailed Kelly Mcgillis, he did it so good, they are doing a remake of the nailing.... I could go on and on... really flat biller.....

I do flat bill trucker hats. Mostly backwards so I dont have to worry about it. However last time I did to much backwards and ended up with a unique sunburn just through the snap back hole area, the large almost oval part. It lasted a week. Now I think I’ll take it off when we get moving.

Curved bill always and I wear it backwards in a boat. I like flex fits, truckers, but and when I golf I will only wear a bucket hat.

Curved when boating and pretty much leave it on all the time, over 50 turn it around.
Every time, and I mean every time we're out someone in the boat looses their hat.

I wear semi flat mostly however I am no "bro". I do wear curved as well, mostly when shooting as I like the side eye sun protection when sighting in.

Rarely wear backwards as there is only a few times that should ever be done. These are as follows:
1. You are 12 years old or under.
2. You are a catcher for a baseball team.
3. You are driving a boat.
4. You need to look under the dash of your V8 vehicle. Only ever do you turn your hat around to work on a car only if it is a V8 American made vehicle.
5. You are full retard and don't know any better.

Herman Munster required a flat.
Ball caps retain way too much heat for me. A backwards hat does nothing.
Watched an rdp hat sink Saturday after flying off at 5mph......bummer about that Budman:p
Take some hints and wear what the chicks dig. I wear what actually protects my face, neck and skin from the sun, just not while underway.:)

All my flat bills are slightly curved, all stickers removed and don't tuck ears in so I do go full bro.

This type of straw hat is awesome when in the sun all day.

I was in Santa Barbara for the weekend with friends for a wedding and one of them said “I don’t think I have ever seen you without a hat on”. Made me laugh, my wife is trying to preserve me and reduce any extra exposure to the sun, buys me new hats all the time. SnapBacks and trucker hats seem to the “go to” these days for me.

Curved Bill backwards while underway but regular at idle.

When floating I break out the big brim hat. Either straw or the bucket.

I tell anybody in my boat if you don't take your hat off when we get on plane and it flies off.... I'm not turning around for it. I've lost hats at 5 mph and I've kept them on at 30 too many variables.

#7. When working in a low clearance area and don't want to bump head into everything.
