The problem with the carls jr here is the warning pole just moves as you go forward. No buzzer no bell. I had a shower door strapped to side of my rack. Window down radio off and it made no noise. Get almost to the window and crunch and truck stops. $600 mistake.

Brings back a memory..... I will admit I made that mistake once. Back when the truck I drove for the company had a rack on it, I was on my way transferring some rolling scaffolding broken down in pieces sticking above the roof rack height. One of those days where phone was ringing off the hook so mind wasn’t really focused on everything around me but was hungry. I seen a Burger King that as usual had no line . I came around the corner a little hot cause only had a few minutes to burn before getting on the road again. And then ...wham... my happy face went to WTF face and didn’t realize what happened until I seen the horizontal poll swing around and hit the side of the building while a sign fell on hood of my truck. Embarrassed as hell I looked at one lady who was in her car with a smile and she turned her head real quick lol... backed up and parked, walked inside with the sign in my hand and the lady inside was cracking up...”not again “...embarrassing moment in my life.
