Picking up a toy hauler than needs a bit of TLC. An outside compartment doesn't drain properly and leaks into the front bathroom, and has ruined the floor. Need to yank the toilet, the little front sink cabinet and the wardrobe cabinet to fix the flooring - but for the life of me can't find any fasteners holding the cabinets in? They almost look like they have a frame built in place and then the exterior wood veneer paneling just glued on and caulked In place or something.

Anyone have any idea? 2FF ???

Wanted to tackle this myself, but if anyone has a recommendation on a reasonable RV repair guy or shop that may wanna knock this out I'm open to suggestions too...

Most are screwed in from the outside before the paneling/siding is installed. Makes your job a PITA.

Many of them are just stapled in. No screws to be found. Look closely at the paneling, are there 1/4" lines that are covered with filler? Those would be the staples. You might be able to remove the cleats inside the cabinet if they are screwed down, but more often than not, those cabinets are not designed to be removed and reinstalled.

Ahhh yeah , I don't think so . If you need any help though let me know I don't live that far . I was hoping to hear somebody chime in with a company that does repairs like this because I have a friend in the exact same situation

I hope you got a smoking deal because the repairs on a floor is no joke. They run under the walls and very hard to repair. Most of the time the water damage starts in the walls or runs down them so plan on peeling the walls and repairing also. It's a big can of worms once water gets in. Have any pics????

ViP rv service, Jim Goodwin,
They are in Perris/Menifee area but well worth the drive. They fix a lot of water damaged revs

hands down one of the best experinces I have had having any of my stuff fixed. I would not take my toy hauler any where else even during the warranty period. Trailer was cleaner when I picked up then when I dropped it off.

Yea picking it up real cheap. Rest of the trailer is solid and it fits a full size sand car, so I'm interested in it.

The linoleum is up and I can see where the damage stops, the exterior and interior walls are good. I think I figured out a plan to fix it, just some elbow grease and dusting off the carpentry tools.

I normally steer clear of these types of projects but what the hell

It's coming home soon, I'll get a few pics. I think that is definitely the cause, it's gonna make it hard to remove them without busting that exterior face panel. Making a new panel isn't the end of the world but it would be nice to save what's there

A flush cutting oscillating saw with a metal blade may help, but it will only reach 2 to 3 inches.
