Looks like hit a hole going up this hill which maybe caused him to flip back? I've never snowmobiled before so I'm not familiar with how the terrain works.... Such a bummer he had an amazing story.

He was riding a Skidoo G5 with a 154 track. It is extremely easy at the HP they make to wheelie right back over the top. I have had it happen to me but was able to push off to the side of me with my legs. Here is a video of my brother last year...gives you an idea...
RIP. Loved his videos and his great attitude.
Reminds me of the tragic passing of Wayside Dave at Alamo Lake and a freak accident when his machine also killed when i saw that article. So tragic.
Dave......... One of the best nights in my recent memories of listening to the band that night in that tiny little oasis he built, playing pool with you and the other members and talking with his daughter and you. Still hurts me to feel the pain they must still live with.I still think about him.. what a great guy..
My kids always ask me when we are going back so they can play with his daughter..![]()
Not sure how skilled Ken was but there is a popular move that a lot of guys are doing now called a Re-entry. Basically you're intentionally redirecting the sled into a 180Deg turn while doing a wheelie up a steep incline. It's extremely challenging to learn, but a real hoot when you pull it off. Not saying Ken was doing this but I have seen guys wind up under their sleds while attempting it. Prayers to Kens family. This really sucks! He was riding a Skidoo G5 with a 154 track. Ken was pretty good. Familiar with the move and have done them. That was awesome, we'll done. I hope this can be shared with his familyMy 11yo showed me this video earlier, after I watched it I was like, that was cool, to which he replied thank you....it was then that I realized that he made it himself on some video editing app he has on his phone....

I read his snow mobile fell or landed on him? Not too much sure about details.Has anyone actually heard what the cause of death was?
Well JD looks like I'm on the sidelines with ya for awhile. Had an accident at Tony's Grove last Friday. Wrist is broken in 3 places and the turbo is likely totaled. I still cant even believe it.Ken was pretty good. Familiar with the move and have done them. Sled goes where your eyes go.
