The weather was windy and chilly but I still managed to get some shots from the radar boat at the finish line of the Shootout. Low Altitude was the fast boat of the day laying down a 182 mph pass :thumbsup

I've always been a fan of the 24' Baja and feel as though it's under appreciated. I prefer the first gen with the squared transom to the newer model. I looked at one years ago with a 500hp and should have bought it. Great boat for Parker/Havazoo.

Had a 97 for 7 years. Ran the crap out of it in the Pacific Ocean mostly. They do feel a lot bigger fir their size and handle rough well with a 24 degree dead rise. Baja boats in general are under rated. Great boats if own another any time.

I've been holed up in RD's garage for the entire day editing photos from this week and looking back I can say that I had a hell of a time! As for the event itself, it's as healthy as ever and it they just find more and more events to pack into the week. Props to LakeRacer for putting on a first class event and to RDP for making sure we all have fun :thumbsup:thumbsup

Power Steering problems are still going on, lost steering trying to get the boat on the trailer ( that was hilarious ) Leaking from the back mounting studs and cap. Looking into a reservoir deal. Had a stuck needle and seat in one of the carbs going about 60 and just shut down and broke a couple gauges. Just another typical weekend on the lake! lol :grumble:
