Hitting the road to northern ca tomorrow, had awsome week on havasu, but glad I'm out until the madness is over. 25' boat and 12' truck taking 7 parking spaces has already started.

Was in Havasu last weekend from Thursday night to Monday night. Didn't boat. Went to La Vita Dolce for the first time Friday. Started on a garage bar project. Purchased some firepowered lead launchers on Saturday and had a pool day in the afternoon. Stayed out late so the wife could dance a ton at Flying X for her birthday. Monday, shooting before WFH (Work From Havasu). Nothing was crowded and it was great.

Now, avoiding Havasu for Memorial.

Schedule at home in Corona:
Day #1 - Garage reorg with new cabinets
Day #2 - Sprinkler system fixes
Day #3 - Random clean up around the house

Every night a mix of BBQ, tacos, breweries, tequila, and some couch movie watching.

Oh yeah, Monaco race as well.

Only downfall, weather looks great in Havasu and garbage in SoCal.

After working the Windsor ramp for 4 years I am surprised that there is not more accidents. Drunks and people who do not have a clue of what is going on. The golf course was nice this morning and my wife got an eagle on a par 5.

Friends sent me a pic from Mexico. Rio Harde River about 45 minutes the other side of Mexicali.. Lots of nice homes and great water for skiing.

Beautiful day here in Colorado, got some skiing in early, then an afternoon storm rolled through, went to cover up the boat and got caught in a hail storm, had to ride it out under the boat cover, haha. Nice and sunny now!!

Haven’t been there since there were a couple homes, a compound and an airstrip. Spent some incredible weekends with @ArizonaKevin ’s family.

Spent Monday and Tuesday at the station, went to havasu Wednesday morning to drop off the buick for new exhaust system, then went with my brother to check out a boat he was looking at. Saw the boat Wednesday, did a compression test Thursday, sea trialed it at 7 am yesterday. Not a bad few days, just my brother and I with 3 toddlers was a little tiring though.

And it didn't help when a young kid backed into my buick when it was on the trailer at in-n-out. I had compound in the truck and rubbed out the scuff before we even left the parking lot, that was a win.


Will be back at work sunday/Monday then Tuesday I head to havasu to get the buick, drive to California on Wednesday to take a recert class, then back to havasu Thursday to help my brother take delivery

I launched around 7AM Friday at the Riviera, very windy, got back in around 1PM and it was pretty busy. Saturday I stayed in and now I'm thinking about going out tomorrow for an evening sunset cruise. Weather hasn't been too bad at all!

Went out for a little while today. Cruised down to Steamboat to hang out, spun through the channel and got off the water before the holiday ramp shit show. Great to spend some time with my youngest. He still handles the boat like a champ. Really good at reading the water and the traffic. Buddy rented a channel barge for tomorrow. Gonna stay low key, low maintenance.

That’s funny. Didn’t even notice it. Wonder if that’s the one we’re on tomorrow. . Channel was pretty packed. People looked like We didn’t get sprayed once, which was awesome. My driver bailed on the return trip. As much fun as he had cruising out he decided that I could take the wheel back.

Launched around 9 and headed for 3 Dunes. Grabbed a spot and the little one played in the sand. Took off around 12:30 for the springs to grab a bite but he decided to take a nap as we were going off plane so we turned around and did a lap through the channel to check out the madness and got off the water at 2:45.
