I also would like to reserve the purchase of the cool ass empty bottle and hands display when done so as I may be able to fill it with Cutty and impress the hell out of my friends.

I would bet that empty bottle would easily sell for $1000-$2000 or more.

Why wouldn't you guys drink it? If I ever found myself in a position where I spent $1000 or more on whiskey your darn right I'm gonna drink it. What's the point of being like there it is but nope I'm gonna control myself tonight and sip on my early times.

The likely hood of that tasting good is pretty slim. At 81 yrs in a barrel it will start to get different taste out of the wood.

Higher age above 20-25 yrs tend not to get any better.

I tried some MaCallan 25 this weekend and it was OK, I did not like some of the hints of fruit and smoke. My Favorite is the 18, I love caramel and vanilla taste in the 18. Now if any Baller on RDs gets a bottle I will gladly try it and give it my review
