I didn't know him well. Met him twice for the briefest of moments.

We actually exchanged quite a few PMs and a few email over the years. His messages were written in a tone that suggested a deep, long time friendship. That was not our relationship but it felt like that.

There were a couple of things he told me that were not in his best interest; the kind of things you would only tell a friend you put before business. One of those tidbits saved me from considerable grief.

I imagine, that's just how he was. Honest. Direct. Disorientingly tuned into what's going on.

This hurts real bad.

I have a folder of email from people who have passed. It is getting considerable in size. I'm not sure why I keep it because it's all I can do to open it every once in a long while but I have to keep it for some reason. I can't bring myself to move Danny in there. Maybe tomorrow.

This is so shocking! I seriously just logged on with the intent to pm him about his Banshee for sale and ask if he was available this week.. I have been thinking about buying it for a few weeks and thought it would be a fun lil project and get it ready for winter.

I never met the guy in person, yet he always seemed cool and helpful here on the forums. I'll keep his family in friends in prayer.

Heard about this earlier. Terrible news. Way too young. Had the opportunity to hang out and party with him on a few occasions. He was a cool young cat. Not like all the youngsters these days. He was sharp, had a good head on his shoulders, and you knew he was gonna do good things. Much respect for that kid. RIP bro. You will be missed. My wife and I send our condolences out to his family and friends. I know there are a lot of folks here that were pretty close to him. Our thoughts are with you.
