This is what happens when you live in a lawless society and tie the hands of law enforcement and have fuck tards like Darren Kavinoky the 1800 no cuffs douchebag that gets people out of DUI's. There is no teeth in breaking the law anymore in California. California is turning into the wild west again because of the Democrats and the fucking snowflakes. Dispatch that POS right there on the side of the freeway in front of god and everybody.

Whoa.... Just whoa... That's just terrible all over. I can only pray the one fatality in the car that got plowed first never knew what hit him. The guys stumbling away from his pickup truck that caused the accident I hope he survives and has to deal with the grief and misery for his entire life in a small jail cell too short stand up and too small to lay down. Letting him be executed is far to easy of a way to go.

RD just posted he was going to bed at 4:30 AM the other day. People do it all the time. Or he could have been high, or both.

I really, really hope there were no kids in that bus having to witness this tragedy. If so I'm glad the bus driver got out of there asap..
.
Other thing I noted was that the driver with the cameras was driving with awareness, he saw it coming.

Less than a mile from my office on Rancho California Rd.. We were all affected by this on our drive into work.

I've watched that front video a bunch of different times now. I saw he plowed that Hyndai, but I'm not sure how that white Tahoe got into it, and what exactly launched that other white car over the fence and into a building?? That is flipping crazy!

That rear facing cam you can see the truck coming up the emergency ln Wide Open and he jumps out into traffic again and comes pretty close to losing it, then right by the camera and wham..

I generally stay up nights and do work.. or cleaning etc. Not really taking my party to the Emergency lane on the 15 freeway at 120+.

RD

Correct. Not implying that this is something you do or have done.

But people stay up late, partying, hanging out, whatever, and hop in the truck to go to work, home, or wherever is sadly a reality.

Billiards. The cars are pool balls at that speed.

I think he went up and over the hyundai which took the roof and hood off of that car, drilled the small white truck next which sent it across the freeway and into the building, then tahoe and tesla after that.

Traffic was slow or stopped. The impact sent cars into cars. The fact that the 2 cars that went over, into the structure, just shows how violent an impact it was. Tahoe was probably in the fast lane and was collateral damage. Look at how empty the crash site was as the car pulled up.

Truck was basically a bowling ball.......

This is what I saw as well, right over the Hyundi into the white pickup then into the Tahoe.

Rear View of speeding truck
He already clipped the K rail in the median before going around a few cars before he slammed into the car in front of him. Ugh... Total and complete unnecessary waste.

Wow. Gonna nominate this for stupidest post of the year.

What, that people stay up to the early hours of the morning partying? Don't take what I said out of context.

I was not implying that RD does anything wrong here. People stay up until the sun comes up partying.. it happens. When they are dumb enough to get in a car, sadly things like this happen as a result.

I'd wonder about the traffic's speed. The kinetic energy would be lessened by the traffic moving faster. If the cars were going 45-50, and got hit by a truck doing 115-120...it's still the same effect as the truck traveling at 70 and hitting a parked car.

There may be no teeth in the laws anymore, but there are still rounds in the mag. There is no excuse for this to happen.

Like stated above, the flashing lights were on scene pretty damn quickly. Maybe they were initiating a pursuit on the truck and that's why he ran? Maybe they were attempting to respond to a call of a speeding truck and tried to stop him and he took off trying to get away? Drunk and or high?? I dont know, but the first officer I saw looked like they were wearing an outer vest with police on the back. Not CHP. So, I wonder if there is more to the story that we haven't heard about?

Terrible crash. I have been thinking more and more about putting a camera in my cars like this just for my own protection against shitty drivers.

Do those guys really get anyone out of a DUI? If the cop administers a test wrong or something sure they will get you out of it, but I think by and large you pay them, and you get your license back a little sooner than you would have without them... maybe.

One of the commenters in the second video stated they were right behind the driver with the pov and that traffic was going about 80 there. Dude was on it if they were going 80

That's 120 imo, I have seen a guy going like that passed me in heavy traffic on I-15 last summer.

IDK I haven't had to or plan on using him but if you were drunk you were drunk, you shouldn't get any leniency at all because the cop didn't dot an i.

I dont really know either. A friend had a DUI and called one of those types, said it was a waste of the couple grand it costs. He could have done about everything they did.

By and large I don’t think people are getting out of DUIs. It is just a money grab anyway. If they were serious, they’d throw the people in jail.

I truly feel bad for the innocent people who got there lives destroyed by this idiot...

That dude is a worthless piece of shit... I hope he gets what he deserves... maybe we need to spred rumors that he molested kids to the inmates of his future prison...

This truly screwed up my commute to San Diego, I was pissed off all day,

Now That I have seen the videos, I am no longer pissed about my day, pissed off at this guy, for the damage he has done to many good people...

I've watched the first video a few times and the white Tahoe still makes no sense. If you look closely it looks like somebody starts to get out of the driver door and then gets back in. The guy popping his head up is there before the door opens. Very strange, but I almost think it was there before the accident.

so from the rear facing camera, seems like the CHP and Fire were there pretty quick. I did see a CHP on the right shoulder lights on before the crash in the front facing video. Wonder if they knew this truck was coming already?

How do you know this is the same person. There’s no real info in the article?

The article states the same name and age as the one I posted from Valley news. The article was Nov 2018, makes me think it's the same guy. But IDK

I think he was being pursued already. RD noticed that the truck clips the center K rail in the video showing the rear view. Then the lights come up

I have a question...does anyone here get or know how you get drunk to the point of doing this if that is what happened? I don't know what but this seems like something more.

Someone needs to eat a bullet for that one. A needle is too nice. Crazy mofo thinking he was gonna dodge a few cars.

Prayers to all that were affected by this dumb ass.

If he was indeed being pursued by cops, there will be a serious protocol review, and explains the speed.

I think it was DUI drugs, not booze. Dude was on a good one whatever it was he was on.

Really fucking sad and I’m on this stretch of highway every few days. Usually earlier than 7:30 but it does bring shit into a bit of perspective. You really never know when you leave the house to earn a paycheck...

That first patrol vehicle on scene is not a CHP unit. Our light patterns are different

I believe he was being pursued, but that's not CHP. I'm going with ICE, given the area. I could be wrong and pretty much always am.

As others have stated; same name, same age, and same city of residence. Too coincidental for me, and add in the prior suspended/revoked license I’m going to guess same guy.
